After starting at the Aschberg, the path now steadily descends into the valley of the Zwickauer Mulde. If you continue walking a bit further, you reach Morgenröthe-Rautenkranz. Here you are truly very close to the "stars"! The birthplace of the first German in space, Sigmund Jähn, is home to the German Space Exhibition, dedicated to space travel and space research.  The exhibition area on manned spaceflight is particularly interesting. It goes without saying that the flight of the first German cosmonaut Sigmund Jähn is especially highlighted. In addition to original space suits and research equipment, there are many fascinating exhibits that tell about life in weightlessness and how the results of the flights are used in medicine, biology, industry, and everyday life. Almost all German, but also many Russian and American cosmonauts and astronauts, have contributed personal gifts from their missions, giving this exhibition complex a special charisma. A lasting experience is an insight into life in a very confined space. The training module of the base block of the MIR space station, where many European astronauts completed the first stage of their training, provides a lifelike impression. And another tip: Visitors experience an authentic journey to the International Space Station ISS in the space flight cinema, the impressive introduction to the exhibition. The tour ends in Vogelsgrün, high above with a magnificent view into the Göltzsch valley.

Après le départ de l'Aschberg, le chemin descend maintenant constamment jusqu'à la vallée de la Zwickauer Mulde. En continuant un peu plus loin, tu atteins Morgenröthe-Rautenkranz. Ici, tu es vraiment "presque parmi les étoiles" ! Dans la ville natale du premier Allemand dans l'espace, Sigmund Jähn, se trouve l'exposition allemande dédiée à l'exploration spatiale et à la recherche spatiale. La section d'exposition sur les vols habités est particulièrement intéressante. Il va de soi que le vol du premier cosmonaute allemand Sigmund Jähn est particulièrement mis en valeur. En plus des combinaisons spatiales originales et des équipements de recherche, il y a beaucoup d'exposés passionnants qui parlent de la vie en apesanteur et aussi de la manière dont les résultats des vols sont utilisés en médecine, en biologie, dans l'industrie et dans la vie quotidienne. Presque tous les cosmonaute allemands, mais aussi de nombreux cosmonautes russes et astronautes américains ont largement contribué à cette exposition par des cadeaux personnels de leurs missions, lui donnant un charme particulier. Une expérience marquante est un aperçu de la vie dans un espace restreint. Le module d'entraînement du bloc de base de la station spatiale MIR, dans lequel de nombreux astronautes européens ont effectué la première étape de leur formation, donne une impression réaliste. Et un autre conseil : une visite authentique à la Station spatiale internationale ISS peut être vécue dans le cinéma spatial, une entrée impressionnante à l'exposition. La randonnée se termine à Vogelsgrün, en hauteur avec une vue magnifique sur la vallée de Göltzsch.

Nach dem Start auf dem Aschberg fällt der Weg ab nun stetig ab bis in das Tal der Zwickauer Mulde. Wandert man nun noch etwas weiter erreicht man Morgenröthe-Rautenkranz. Hier ist man tatsächlich “den Sternen” ganz nah! Im Geburtsort des ersten Deutschen im All, Sigmund Jähn, befindet sich die der Raumfahrt und der Weltraumforschung gewidmete Deutsche Raumfahrtausstellung.  Besonders interessant ist der  Ausstellungsbereich zur bemannten Raumfahrt. Es versteht sich von selbst, daß der Flug des ersten deutschen Kosmonauten Sigmund Jähn, besonders hervorgehoben wird. Neben Original-Raumanzügen und Forschungsgeräten gibt es viele spannende Exponate, die vom Leben in der Schwerelosigkeit berichten und auch, wie die Ergebnisse der Flüge für Medizin, Biologie, Industrie und im täglichen Gebrauch genutzt werden. Fast alle deutschen, aber auch viele russische und amerikanische Kosmonauten und Astronauten haben durch persönliche Geschenke von ihren Missionen wesentlich dazu beigetragen, diesem Ausstellungskomplex eine besondere Ausstrahlung zu verleihen. Ein bleibendes Erlebnis ist ein Einblick auf ein Leben auf engstem Raum. Das Trainingsmodul des Basisblocks der Raumstation MIR, in dem viele europäische Raumfahrer die erste Stufe ihrer Ausbildung absolviert haben, vermittelt dazu einen lebensnahen Eindruck. Und noch ein Tipp: Eine authentische Reise zur Internationalen Weltraumstation ISS erleben die Besucher im Raumfahrtkino, der beeindruckende Einstieg in die Ausstellung. Die Tour endet in Vogelsgrün, hoch oben mit herrlichem Blick in das Göltzschtal.
