Seit mehreren Jahren steht das Gebäude, in dem sich einst das Ladengeschäft der »Molkerei Blümlein« befand, nun bereits vollständig leer. Für einen Zeitraum von vier Wochen verwandelt das Kunstprojekt else! das Haus unter dem Titel »Zum Molker« in einen temporären Veranstaltungsraum. Das gesamte Haus wird geöffnet, zentrales Element wird das Ladengeschäft sein, das an die Historie des Ortes anknüpft. Die Künstlerinnen des Kollektivs LABORATORIUM nutzen einige Räume für Arbeitsaufenthalte, in kleinen Ausstellungen werden Arbeiten von Schüler*innen der Staatlichen Holzbildhauerschule in Bischofsheim sowie andere Exponate zum Thema »Kuh« und »Milch« zu sehen sein. Das Künstlerinnen-Kollektiv LABORATORIUM erforscht künstlerische Prozesse, gesellschaftliche Themen und individuelle Wahrnehmungen. Mit ihrem Projekt lab in the city werden die Künstlerinnen im MOLKER in temporären Ateliers arbeiten, neue Projekte entwickeln und ihre Räume prozesshaft in die künstlerische Praxis einbeziehen. CORINNA WAGNER lässt Zahlen erzählen. Im ersten Stock entsteht so in den vier Wochen aus surrealistischen Objekten die Rauminstallation »Zahlen für die Kunst«. Im ehemaligen Ladenraum richtet MIA HOCHREIN einen »Laden« ein und sammelt als performative »Verkäuferin« Erinnerungen von Zeitzeug*innen, die sie mit historischen Recherchen in eine installative Arbeit und Publikation bringt. INKA LORENA SCHOTTDORF erforscht in ihrem Projekt wandernd und zeichnend die Umgebung Münnerstadts und verknüpft persönliche Erinnerungen, körperliche Wahrnehmungen und ökologische Veränderungen miteinander. The building that once housed the “Molkerei Blümlein” store has now stood completely empty for several years. For a period of four weeks, the art project else! will transform the building into a temporary event space under the title “Zum Molker.”The entire building will be open to the public, with the retail space—which ties in with the site’s history—serving as the central element. The artists of the LABORATORIUM collective will use some of the rooms as studios, and small exhibitions will feature works by students from the State School of Woodcarving in Bischofsheim as well as other exhibits on the themes of “cows” and “milk.”The LABORATORIUM artists’ collective explores artistic processes, social themes, and individual perceptions. With their project “lab in the city,” the artists will work in temporary studios at MOLKER, develop new projects, and incorporate their spaces into their artistic practice as part of an ongoing process.CORINNA WAGNER lets numbers tell a story.
