La Probstmühle à Oberdorla, est l'un des sept moulins qui se sont dressés ou se dressent encore sur le Siebenmühlenbach. Le nom Probstmühle ou Herrenmühle vient probablement du XIe siècle, époque à laquelle elle a été construite. À cette époque, le moulin appartenait au monastère de l'église et était donc subordonné au seigneur de l'église (Probst). Comme la plupart des moulins, le moulin était un moulin à grains. Ici, le grain apporté par les agriculteurs était moulu en farine, semoule et Schroth. Aujourd'hui, l'usine Probst n'est plus en activité. Elle a été achetée en 2006 par l'ancienne municipalité d'Oberdorla et a été restaurée avec soin, de sorte qu'elle peut encore moudre du grain aujourd'hui. Aujourd'hui, le moulin sert de monument technique et est utilisé comme curiosité. Depuis 2013, des mariages ont lieu régulièrement dans la Probstmühle.
The Probstmühle in Oberdorla, is one of the seven mills that have stood or still stand on the Siebenmühlenbach. The name Probstmühle or Herrenmühle probably dates back to the 11th century, when it was built. At that time the mill belonged to the church monastery and was thus subordinate to the church lord (Probst). The mill, like most mills, was a flour mill. Here, the grain brought by the farmers was ground into flour, semolina and meal. Today the Probst Mill is no longer in operation. It was bought in 2006 by the former municipality of Oberdorla and extensively restored so that it could still grind grain today. Today the mill serves as a technical monument and is used as a sight. Since 2013, regular marriages take place in the Probstmühle.
Die Probstmühle in Oberdorla ist eine der sieben Mühlen, die an dem Siebenmühlenbach gestanden haben oder noch stehen. Der Name Probstmühle oder auch Herrenmühle stammt vermutlich aus dem 11. Jahrhundert, in dem sie erbaut wurde. Damals gehörte die Mühle zum Kirchenstift und war so dem Kirchherren (Probst) unterstellt. Die Mühle ist wie die meisten Mühlen eine Getreidemühle. Hier wurde das von den Bauern gebrachte Korn zu Mehl, Grieß und Schroth gemahlen. Heute ist die Probstmühle nicht mehr in Betrieb. Sie wurde im Jahre 2006 von der ehemaligen Gemeinde Oberdorla gekauft und aufwendig restauriert, sodass sie heute noch Korn mahlen könnte. Die Mühle dient heute als technisches Denkmal und wird als Sehenswürdigkeit genutzt. Besichtigungen sind während des Deutschen Mühlentages möglich. Seit dem Jahr 2013 finden in der Probstmühle regelmäßig Eheschließungen statt.
