The Eisfeld-Rottenbach border tower is an originally preserved GDR border tower from the early 1970s/80s. Today it serves as a memorial site on the inner-German border and offers a historical insight into life in divided Germany. The border tower combines impressive authenticity with an informative exhibition in a historical atmosphere. Whether alone or accompanied - a visit is easily accessible, educational and at the same time a gateway to the experience of the German-German border in the Green Belt.
Der Grenzturm Eisfeld–Rottenbach ist ein original erhaltener DDR-Grenzturm aus den frühen 1970er/80er-Jahren.
