Das SAMOCCA in Weimar ist Thüringens erstes Café dieser Kette, eröffnet im Mai 2023. Es liegt im Studienzentrum der historischen Herzogin Anna Amalia Bibliothek und verbindet Café mit Lese-Café – Büchertausch und -lesen sind möglich. Speisen und Getränke (Käse, Bagel, Kuchen, Eis, Schokolade) stammen aus eigenen Manufakturen (Christopherushof, Diakonie Landgut Holzdorf) und werden frisch zubereitet. Zudem werden dort handwerkliche Produkte wie Woll- und Holzartikel verkauft. Das Besondere: SAMOCCA schafft inklusive Arbeitsplätze für Menschen mit und ohne Handicaps im Sinne der beruflichen Rehabilitation. Träger sind die inclusio Weimar gGmbH, die Diakonie Landgut Holzdorf gGmbH und die Klassikstiftung Weimar.
The SAMOCCA in Weimar is Thuringia’s first café in this chain, set to open in May 2023. It is located in the study center of the historic Duchess Anna Amalia Library and combines a café with a reading café—where visitors can exchange and read books. Food and beverages (cheese, bagels, cake, ice cream, chocolate) come from in-house producers (Christopherushof, Diakonie Landgut Holzdorf) and are freshly prepared. Handcrafted products such as wool and wood items are also sold there. What makes it special: SAMOCCA creates inclusive jobs for people with and without disabilities as part of vocational rehabilitation.
