Schöps avec le district Jägersdorf est une communauté dans le sud du district Saale-Holzland. Située à une dizaine de kilomètres au sud d'Iéna, entre le plateau de Saale-Ilm et la forêt de Thuringe, la commune est traversée par la rivière Saale. En tant que région d'Allemagne particulièrement favorisée sur le plan climatique, la moyenne vallée de la Saale attire les visiteurs avec un printemps doux, un été chaud, un automne long et chaud et un hiver doux. Il est donc idéal pour sortir et se déplacer souvent ! Le château de Leutenburg, qui domine la Saale, peut facilement être visité en une journée. Le château de jade médiéval de Rieseneck , avec sa stèle souterraine, et l'insolite château Herzogstuhl des ducs de Saxe/Altenbourg dans la forêt de Kleineutersdorf sont passionnants et gratifiants. La ville de porcelaine de Kahla possède un vieux centre ville qui mérite d'être visité, avec un mur d'enceinte presque entièrement conservé et des fermes restaurées avec amour.

Schöps with the district Jägersdorf is a community in the south of the Saale-Holzland district. Situated about ten kilometres south of Jena between the Saale-Ilm Plateau and the Thuringian Woodland, the municipality has the Saale River flowing through it. As a climatically particularly favoured area of Germany, the middle Saale valley attracts visitors with a mild spring, a hot summer, a long and warm autumn and a mild winter. So it's ideal for getting out and about a lot! Leutenburg Castle, towering high above the Saale, is easily doable as a day trip. Exciting and rewarding are the medieval jade castle Rieseneck with its underground deerstalker and the unusual castle Herzogstuhl of the Dukes of Saxony/Altenburg in the forest of Kleineutersdorf. The porcelain town of Kahla has an old town centre worth seeing with an almost completely preserved town wall and lovingly restored farmhouses.

Schöps mit dem Ortsteil Jägersdorf ist eine Gemeinde im Süden des Saale-Holzland-Kreises. Etwa zehn Kilometer südlich von Jena zwischen Saale-Ilm-Platte und Thüringer Holzland gelegen, wird die Gemeinde von der Saale durchflossen. Als klimatisch besonders begünstigtes Gebiet Deutschlands lockt das mittlere Saaletal mit einem milden Frühling, einem heißen Sommer, einem langen und warmen Herbst und einem milden Winter. Es ist also ideal, um viel unterwegs zu sein! Die hoch über der Saale thronende Leuchtenburg ist als Tagesausflug gut machbar. Spannend und lohnend sind die mittelalterliche Jagdanlage Rieseneck mit unterirdischem Pirschgang und das ungewöhnliche Schloss Herzogstuhl der Herzöge von Sachsen/Altenburg im Wald von Kleineutersdorf. Die Porzellanstadt Kahla hat einen sehenswerten alten Stadtkern mit einer fast vollständig erhaltenen Stadtmauer und liebevoll restaurierten Bauernhäusern.
