Am 9. September feiern die Stadt- & Kreisbibliothek Sömmerda und das Historisch-Technische Museum mit einem abwechslungsreichen Jubiläumsprogramm ihren 20-jährigen Sitz im Dreyse-Haus Sömmerda. Von interaktiven Angeboten am Vormittag bis zu einem kulturellen Abendprogramm mit Empfang, Buchpräsentation und Slam Poetry bietet der Tag vielfältige Einblicke in die Geschichte, das kreative Potenzial und die aktuelle Bedeutung des Hauses. Der Festtag beginnt um 10.00 Uhr mit dem Start des großen Dreyse-Haus-Quiz, das über einen Zeitraum von zwei Wochen läuft. Auf die Gewinner warten attraktive Preise – darunter eine Jahresmitgliedschaft für die Bibliothek. Parallel können Besucherinnen und Besucher im Lesecafé ihre eigenen Lesezeichen im Buchdruckverfahren herstellen. In der Ausstellung des Museums gibt es ein Mitmachprogramm rund um historische Schreibmaschinen, bei dem Technikbegeisterte und Nostalgiker auf ihre Kostenkommen. Der kulturelle Höhepunkt des Tages beginnt um 17.00 Uhr mit dem Forum im Dreyse-Haus und einer anschließenden Buchpräsentation zur KZ-Außenstelle – eine Veranstaltung, die sich mit einem wichtigen Kapitel der regionalen Geschichte auseinandersetzt. Der Eintritt ist frei. Um 18.30 Uhr folgt ein feierlicher Empfang im Innenhof, bei dem feierlich eine neue Sitzbank eingeweiht wird – mit Grußworten vom Bürgermeister Herrn Hauboldt und Landrat Herrn Karl. Zum Ausklang des Jubiläumstags wird es poetisch und mitreißend: Ab 19.30 Uhr treten die Slam-PoetInnen Skog Ogvann und Friederike im Saal des Dreyse-Hauses auf und bringen ihre Texte auf die Bühne. (Eintritt erforderlich). Karten sind erhältlich in der Bibliothek im Dreyse-Haus.

La journée festive débutera à 10 heures avec le lancement du grand quiz de la Maison Dreyse, qui se déroulera sur une période de deux semaines. Des prix attrayants - dont une adhésion d'un an à la bibliothèque - attendent les gagnants. En parallèle, les visiteurs pourront fabriquer leurs propres marque-pages en typographie dans le café de lecture. L'exposition du musée propose un programme participatif autour des machines à écrire historiques, où les passionnés de technique et les nostalgiques trouveront leur compte. Le point culminant culturel de la journée débutera à 17 heures avec le forum dans la maison Dreyse, suivi d'une présentation de livre sur l'antenne du camp de concentration - une manifestation qui aborde un chapitre important de l'histoire régionale. L'entrée est gratuite. À 18h30, une réception solennelle suivra dans la cour intérieure, au cours de laquelle un nouveau banc sera solennellement inauguré - avec des mots de bienvenue du maire M. Hauboldt et du Landrat M. Karl. La journée d'anniversaire se terminera sur une note poétique et entraînante : à partir de 19h30, les poètes slameurs Skog Ogvann et Friederike se produiront dans la salle de la Dreyse-Haus et présenteront leurs textes sur scène. On 9 September, the Sömmerda City & District Library and the Historical and Technical Museum will be celebrating their 20th anniversary in the Dreyse House in Sömmerda with a varied anniversary program. From interactive activities in the morning to a cultural evening program with a reception, book presentation and slam poetry, the day offers a variety of insights into the history, creative potential and current significance of the building. The festive day begins at 10.00 a.m. with the start of the big Dreyse House quiz, which will run for two weeks. Attractive prizes await the winners - including an annual library membership. At the same time, visitors can print their own bookmarks in the reading café. In the museum's exhibition, there will be a hands-on program with historical typewriters, where technology enthusiasts and nostalgics will get their money's worth. The cultural highlight of the day begins at 5 p.m. with the forum in the Dreyse House and a subsequent book presentation on the concentration camp outpost - an event that deals with an important chapter in the region's history. Admission is free. At 6.30 p.m., there will be a festive reception in the inner courtyard, where a new bench will be inaugurated - with words of welcome from the mayor, Mr. Hauboldt, and the district administrator, Mr. Karl. To round off the anniversary day, it will be poetic and rousing: from 7.30 pm, slam poets Skog Ogvann and Friederike will perform in the Dreyse-Haus hall and bring their texts to the stage.
