About: Kölleda OT Beichlingen

Beichlingen, aujourd'hui un quartier de Kölleda dans le district de Sömmerda, est situé sur la bordure sud de la Schmücke et a été mentionné pour la première fois en 1014. Il était le siège des comtes de Beichlingen et plus tard des comtes de Werthern-Beichlingen. Le château de Beichlingen, un monument historique important, en est l'emblème. D'autres curiosités sont l'église du village St. Aegidius, la sépulture héréditaire des comtes et la montagne blanche. Les environs offrent nature, histoire et loisirs, entre autres une piscine en forêt et des traces du château de Monra.

Beichlingen, heute ein Ortsteil von Kölleda im Landkreis Sömmerda, liegt am Südrand der Schmücke und wurde 1014 erstmals erwähnt. Es war Stammsitz der Grafen von Beichlingen und später der Grafen von Werthern-Beichlingen. Wahrzeichen ist Schloss Beichlingen, ein bedeutendes historisches Bauwerk. Weitere Sehenswürdigkeiten sind die Dorfkirche St. Aegidius, das Erbbegräbnis der Grafen und der Weiße Berg. Die Umgebung bietet Natur, Geschichte und Freizeit, u. a. ein Waldschwimmbad und Spuren der Monraburg.

Beichlingen, today a district of Kölleda in the district of Sömmerda, lies on the southern edge of the Schmücke and was first mentioned in 1014. It was the ancestral seat of the Counts of Beichlingen and later the Counts of Werthern-Beichlingen. The landmark is Beichlingen Castle, an important historical building. Other sights include the village church of St. Aegidius, the hereditary burial place of the counts and the White Mountain. The surrounding area offers nature, history and leisure activities, including a forest swimming pool and traces of the Monraburg castle.
