About: Ballonsportclub Thüringen e.V.

<p>Der Verein wurde am 13.10.1993 in Suhl gegründet und hat zum Satzungsziel, den Ballonsport aktiv zu betreiben, zu fördern und zu bewerben. Das Thüringer Ministerium für Infrastruktur und Landwirtschaft unterstützt das Vorhaben seit Gründung. Die Piloten des mittlerweile aus 38 Mitgliedern bestehenden Vereins, wurden u. a. Deutscher Juniorenmeister, Thüringer und Hessischer Landesmeister und waren qualifiziert für die Deutsche Meisterschaft und die Europameisterschaft. Die Observer wurden neben nationalen Meisterschaften auch bei bedeutenden internationalen Wettbewerben eingesetzt.</p><p>Seit 2012 hat der Verein seinen Sitz in Schleusingen OT Gethles.</p>
