Die St. Severikirche, eine fünfschiffige gotische Hallenkirche, war ab dem 12. Jahrhundert Stiftskirche einer Chorherren-Gemeinde. Hier findet man neben dem Severisarkophag (1365), dessen Seitenwände den Lebensweg des Heiligen zeigen, eine Steinmadonna (1345) und einen 15 m hohen Taufstein (1467) sowie weitere Kunstwerke. Die katholische Kirche zählt zusammen mit dem Dom zum Wahrzeichen der Stadt Erfurt.

L'église Saint-Séverin, une église-halle gothique à cinq nefs, était l'église collégiale d'une communauté de chanoines à partir du 12ème siècle. On y trouve, outre le sarcophage de Sévère (1365) dont les parois latérales illustrent le parcours de vie du saint, une Vierge en pierre (1345) et des fonts baptismaux de 15 m de haut (1467) ainsi que d'autres œuvres d'art. L'église catholique compte, avec la cathédrale, parmi les symboles de la ville d'Erfurt.

St. Severi's Church, a five-nave Gothic hall church, was the collegiate church of a canon community from the 12th century. In addition to the St. Severi sarcophagus (1365), whose side walls depict the life of the saint, there is a stone Madonna (1345) and a 15-metre-high baptismal font (1467) as well as other works of art. Together with the cathedral, the Catholic church is a landmark of the city of Erfurt.
