Die etwa 60 km lange Tour führt Sie zunächst aus dem historischen Stadtkern Erfurts durch den modernen Stadtrand, vorbei am Steigerwald Richtung Süden. Sie durchfahren diveser kleinere Ortschaften sowie die Kleinstadt Arnstadt, jeweils verbunden durch malerische Natur. Auf dem Hinweg nimmt die Route an Höhe zu, die sich auf dem Rückweg angenehm wieder abbaut. Durch die Führung auf bestehenden und bewährten Radwegen, ist die Strecke gut ausgebaut und beschildert. Sie beginnen die Tour auf dem Gera-Radweg Richtung Süden und gelangen schnell an das erste Highlight - das spätbarocke Schloss Molsdorf mit Parkanlage. Das "Thüringer Versailles" erlbte seine Glanzzeit im 18. Jhd., als hier der preußische Reichsgraf von Gotter frei nach dem Motto "Joie de vivre" (Es lebe die Freude) residierte. Am Schloss vorbei folge Sie dem Radweg bis nach Arnstadt. Der Ort ist der älteste Thüringens und eng mit Johann Sebastian Bach verbunden, der hier seine erste Anstellung als Organist fand. Von hier aus führt Sie die Bach-Rad-Erlebnisroute gen Westen bis nach Mühlberg, wo Sie auf den Radfernweg Thüringer Städtekette wechseln und sich für die Rücktour dem Norden zuwenden. Die letzte Teilstrecke hält das imposante Dreigestirn Drei Gleichen für Sie bereicht. Entdecken Sie das besondere Ensemble bestehend aus der Mühlburg, der Burg Gleichen (Burgruine) und der Wachsenburg (Hotel).

Le parcours d'environ 60 km vous emmène d'abord du centre historique d'Erfurt à travers la banlieue moderne, passant par la forêt de Steigerwald en direction du sud. Vous traversez plusieurs petits villages ainsi que la petite ville d'Arnstadt, tous reliés par une nature pittoresque. À l’aller, le trajet monte, ce qui se redescend agréablement au retour. Le parcours emprunte des pistes cyclables existantes et fiables, bien aménagées et balisées. Vous commencez le parcours par la piste cyclable Gera en direction du sud et arrivez rapidement à la première attraction - le château baroque tardif de Molsdorf avec son parc. Le "Versailles de Thuringe" a connu son âge d'or au XVIIIe siècle, lorsque le comte prussien de Gotter y résidait suivant la devise "Joie de vivre" (que vive la joie). Après le château, vous suivez la piste cyclable jusqu'à Arnstadt. The approximately 60 km long route first takes you out of Erfurt's historic city center through the modern outskirts, past the Steigerwald forest heading south. You pass through various smaller towns as well as the small town of Arnstadt, each connected by picturesque nature. On the outbound leg, the route gains elevation, which gently descends on the return journey. As it follows established and proven cycle paths, the route is well developed and signposted. You start the route on the Gera Cycle Path heading south and quickly reach the first highlight - the late baroque Molsdorf Castle with park grounds. The "Thuringian Versailles" enjoyed its heyday in the 18th century when the Prussian Imperial Count von Gotter lived here according to the motto "Joie de vivre" (Long live joy). Passing the castle, follow the cycle path to Arnstadt. The town is the oldest in Thuringia and closely linked to Johann Sebastian Bach, who held his first organist appointment here. From here, the Bach Cycle Experience Route leads you west to Mühlberg, where you switch to the Long-Distance Cycle Route Thuringian City Chain and head north for the return journey. The final section offers the impressive trio Drei Gleichen for you to explore. Discover the special ensemble consisting of Mühlburg, Gleichen Castle (castle ruin), and Wachsenburg (hotel).
