(226 m above sea level), overlooked in the north by the steeply rising slopes of the Ritschenberg and the Mordberg, is the second largest village in the Hexengrund with 198 inhabitants and was first mentioned in a document in 876 as "Helidingi". The meaning of the village name could never be clarified satisfactorily. Two interpretations prevail. One is that the name originated from an ancient cult and court place dedicated to the Germanic goddess Hel, the other that it was derived from "the people of a Helid (hero)". It is certain that a settlement of the Heilinger Flur existed long before the first documentary mention in 876. Proof of this is a large number of archaeological finds from the Neolithic Age (about 4000 - 1700 B.C.) and the Hallstatt period (1st millennium B.C.). Thing stoneThe place is rich in witnesses of past times. Worth seeing are the old swearing and court site with Thingstein and court lime tree, a fortified church, a former distillery from the beginning of the 16th century and historical half-timbered houses. Particularly attractive is the village square at the church, which has been redesigned in recent years as part of the village renewal program. Guest rooms and a restaurant with a hall invite to recreational stays. In the village the club life is cultivated. The male choir "Concordia" is known far beyond the borders of Thuringia. Equally active is the local history society Heilingen-Röbschütz e.V., which organizes, among other things, the annual field procession.

Pierre de thingLe lieu est riche en témoins des temps passés. L'ancien lieu de serment et de jugement avec la pierre de Thing et le tilleul de justice, une église fortifiée, une ancienne distillerie de schnaps du début du 16e siècle et des maisons à colombages historiques valent le détour. La place du village près de l'église, réaménagée ces dernières années dans le cadre de la rénovation du village, est particulièrement attrayante. Des chambres d'hôtes et un restaurant avec salle invitent à des séjours de détente. La vie associative est très développée dans le village. Le chœur d'hommes "Concordia" est connu bien au-delà des frontières de la Thuringe. L'association "Heimatverein Heilingen-Röbschütz e.V." est tout aussi active et organise, entre autres, le défilé annuel.

NN), im Norden überragt von den steil ansteigenden Hängen des Ritschenberges und des Mordbergs, ist mit 198 Einwohnern das zweitgrößte Dorf im Hexengrund und wurde 876 als „Helidingi“ erstmals urkundlich erwähnt. Die Bedeutung des Ortsnamens konnte nie befriedigend geklärt werden. Zwei Deutungen herrschen vor. Zum einen die, dass der Name aus einem alten Kult- und Gerichtsplatz, der der germanischen Göttin Hel geweiht war, hervorging, zum anderen, dass er von „die Leute eines Helid (Held)“ abgeleitet wurde. Fest steht, dass eine Besiedlung der Heilinger Flur lange vor der urkundlichen Ersterwähnung im Jahre 876 bestand. Beleg hierfür ist eine große Anzahl archäologischer Funde aus der Jungsteinzeit (etwa 4000 – 1700 v.u.Z.) und der Hallstattzeit (1. Jahrtausend v.u.Z.). Thing-SteinDer Ort ist reich an Zeugen vergangener Zeiten. Sehenswert sind die alte Schwur- und Gerichtsstätte mit Thingstein und Gerichtslinde, eine Wehrkirche, eine ehemalige Schnapsbrennerei vom Anfang des 16. Jahrhunderts und historische Fachwerkhäuser. Besonders anziehend ist der im Rahmen der Dorferneuerung in den letzten Jahren neu gestaltete Dorfplatz an der Kirche. Fremdenzimmer und eine Gaststätte mit Saal laden zu Erholungsaufenthalten ein. Im Ort wird das Vereinsleben gepflegt. Der Männerchor „Concordia“ ist weit über die Grenzen Thüringens hinaus bekannt. Ebenso aktiv ist der Heimatverein Heilingen-Röbschütz e.V., der u.a. den alljährlichen Flurzug organisiert.
