Das Rathaus Bad Berka prägt seit dem Wiederaufbau nach dem Stadtbrand von 1816 das Zentrum von Bad Berka. Gemeinsam mit dem Marktplatz wurde es im klassizistischen Stil neugestaltet und steht bis heute als Sinnbild für den Neuanfang der Stadt. Eine besondere Zierde ist die historische blau-goldene Monduhr im Giebel des Rathauses, die bis heute die Mondphasen anzeigt und dem Gebäude seinen unverwechselbaren Charakter verleiht. Neben seiner Funktion als Verwaltungsgebäude ist das Rathaus zugleich ein lebendiger Ort der Begegnung und Kultur: Wechselnde Ausstellungen bieten Künstlerinnen und Künstlern sowie Schülerinnen und Schülern aus der Region Raum, ihre Werke zu präsentieren.
Depuis sa reconstruction après l'incendie de 1816, la mairie de Bad Berka domine le centre-ville. Réaménagée dans le style néoclassique en même temps que la place du marché, elle symbolise encore aujourd'hui le renouveau de la ville. L'horloge lunaire historique bleue et dorée, située dans le pignon de la mairie, constitue un ornement particulier : elle indique encore aujourd'hui les phases de la lune et confère au bâtiment son caractère unique. Outre sa fonction de bâtiment administratif, la mairie est également un lieu vivant de rencontre et de culture : des expositions temporaires offrent aux artistes et aux élèves de la région un espace pour présenter leurs œuvres.
Ratusz w Bad Berka stanowi dominujący element centrum miasta od czasu jego odbudowy po pożarze w 1816 roku. Wraz z rynkiem został on przeprojektowany w stylu klasycystycznym i do dziś pozostaje symbolem nowego początku miasta. Szczególną ozdobą jest zabytkowy niebiesko-złoty zegar księżycowy w szczycie ratusza, który do dziś wskazuje fazy księżyca i nadaje budynkowi niepowtarzalny charakter. Oprócz pełnienia funkcji budynku administracyjnego ratusz jest jednocześnie tętniącym życiem miejscem spotkań i kultury: zmieniające się wystawy oferują artystom oraz uczniom z regionu przestrzeń do prezentowania swoich dzieł.
Since its reconstruction following the town fire of 1816, Bad Berka Town Hall has been a defining feature of the town’s center. Together with the market square, it was redesigned in the Neoclassical style and remains to this day a symbol of the town’s new beginning. A special feature is the historic blue-and-gold moon clock in the town hall’s gable, which still displays the phases of the moon today and gives the building its distinctive character. In addition to its function as an administrative building, the town hall is also a vibrant hub for social interaction and culture: rotating exhibitions provide artists and students from the region with a space to showcase their work.
