Le parc à gibier de Tambach-Dietharz se trouve à l'entrée de la ville, entre Lohmühle et Tambach-Dietharz, au bord de la rivière Apfelstädt. La proximité de Lohmühle et de Bromacker, le site de dinosaures préhistoriques le plus important en dehors des États-Unis, rend une excursion là-bas intéressante et riche en expériences pour les familles. L'enclos à gibier a été aménagé en 1995 sur une surface totale d'environ 9 hectares afin de faire découvrir à nos hôtes et aux habitants les espèces sauvages locales. Les cerfs sont assez fréquents dans les environs de Tambach-Dietharz. Cependant, comme ces animaux sont très craintifs, il est rarement possible de les observer dans leur environnement naturel. Le daim est une espèce de gibier plus petite, qui n'est pas indigène dans notre région, mais qui forme un bon "contraste" avec le cerf rouge. Le long du circuit, il y a par exemple un petit perchoir d'où l'on peut observer l'enclos. Il est très facile d'observer les différents comportements des animaux au sein des troupeaux. Les gardes-chasse répondent également volontiers aux questions des visiteurs. Le samedi et le dimanche, on peut les rencontrer à des heures fixes. Mais en dehors de ces heures, il est également possible de s'informer sur le mode de vie du gibier grâce aux panneaux d'information. La visite de l'enclos à gibier est gratuite et possible à tout moment. Très bien adapté aux familles avec poussette ou aux personnes en fauteuil roulant.
The Tambach-Dietharz game reserve is located at the entrance to the town between Lohmühle and Tambach-Dietharz, on the river Apfelstädt. The proximity to the Lohmühle and the Bromacker, the most important prehistoric dinosaur site outside the USA, makes a trip there interesting and eventful for families. The game preserve was established in 1995 on a total area of about 9 hectares to introduce our guests and residents to native game species. Red deer can be found quite often in the surroundings of Tambach-Dietharz. However, as the animals are very shy, it is rarely possible to observe them in their natural environment. The fallow deer is a smaller game species that is not native to our area, but forms a good "contrast" to the red deer. Along the loop trail, for example, there is a small high perch from which you can overlook the enclosure. The different behaviours of the animals within the herds can be observed very well. The gamekeepers are also happy to answer visitors' questions. On Saturdays and Sundays you can meet them at fixed times. But also outside these times you can inform yourself about the way of life of the game by means of information boards. Visits to the game reserve are free of charge and possible at any time. Very suitable for families with prams or wheelchair users.
Das Wildgehege Tambach-Dietharz befindet sich am Ortseingang zwischen der Lohmühle und Tambach-Dietharz direkt an der Apfelstädt. Durch die unmittelbare Nähe zur Lohmühle sowie zum Bromacker – einer der bedeutendsten Dinosaurierfundstätten der Urzeit außerhalb der USA – bietet sich ein abwechslungsreiches und spannendes Ausflugsziel für die ganze Familie. Auf einer Fläche von rund neun Hektar wurde das Wildgehege im Jahr 1995 angelegt, um Besuchern und Einheimischen die heimische Tierwelt näherzubringen. Besonders das Rotwild ist in den Wäldern rund um Tambach-Dietharz weit verbreitet. Da die Tiere in freier Natur jedoch sehr scheu sind, lassen sie sich dort nur selten beobachten. Im Gehege können Besucher die imposanten Hirsche aus nächster Nähe erleben. Ergänzt wird der Bestand durch Damwild, das zwar nicht in der Region heimisch ist, jedoch einen interessanten Vergleich zum Rothirsch ermöglicht. Entlang des Rundwegs laden verschiedene Aussichtspunkte, darunter ein kleiner Hochsitz, dazu ein, das Gehege zu überblicken und die Tiere in ihrem natürlichen Herdenverhalten zu beobachten. Zusätzliche Informationstafeln vermitteln Wissenswertes über die Lebensweise und Besonderheiten der Wildarten. Der Besuch des Wildgeheges ist kostenfrei und ganzjährig möglich
