About: Stotternheimer See

Lake Stotternheim is one of the most popular of Erfurt's lakes. The 22 ha large body of water with an average depth of 7 m belongs to the already completed leisure lakes. The lido in the west as well as the small bays are very popular, especially in summer. In addition to the recreation and entertainment factor, great importance was and is attached to the renaturation of the lake after the end of gravel mining.

Le lac de Stotternheim est l'un des plus populaires des lacs d'Erfurt. Ce plan d'eau de 22 ha, dont la profondeur moyenne est de 7 m, est l'un des lacs de loisirs déjà achevés. Le lido à l'ouest et les petites baies sont très populaires, surtout en été. Outre le facteur loisirs et divertissement, une grande importance a été accordée à la renaturation après la fin de l'extraction de gravier.

Der Stotternheimer See ist mitunter der beliebteste der Erfurter Seen. Das 22 ha große Gewässer mit einer Durchschnittstiefe von 7 m gehört zu den bereits fertiggestellten Freizeitseen. Das im Westen angelegte Strandbad erfreut sich ebenso wie die kleinen Buchten vor allem im Sommer großer Beliebtheit. Zusätzlich zum Erholungs- und Unterhaltungsfaktor wurde und wird hier nach Beendigung des Kiesabbaus auch großen Wert auf die Renaturierung gelegt.
