Eingebettet in die sanfte Hügellandschaft am Rand des kleinen Rhöndorfes Detter im Markt Zeitlofs, Landkreis Bad Kissingen, liegt der Himmelsschauplatz Detter – ein Ort der Ruhe und des Staunens. Abseits künstlicher Lichtquellen eröffnet sich hier ein besonders klarer Blick auf den nächtlichen Sternenhimmel. Ein Polarsternfinder, eine drehbare Sternkarte und Fernglasaufsetzer ermöglichen eine einfache Orientierung am Firmament und laden dazu ein, Sternbilder und Himmelskörper auf eigene Faust zu entdecken. Auf einer bequemen Wellenliege lässt sich der nächtliche Himmel ganz entspannt genießen. Ergänzende Infotafeln informieren über die Bedeutung des Schutzes der Nacht und sensibilisieren für das Thema Lichtverschmutzung. Auch tagsüber lohnt sich ein Besuch: Der Platz bietet eine ruhige Atmosphäre mit Blick auf die umliegende Landschaft und eignet sich hervorragend als Ziel oder Zwischenstopp bei einer Wanderung durch die südliche Rhön. Parkplätze befinden sich an der Kreisstraße KG 27 (Koordinaten N50.22687, E9.75391). Von hier aus sind es ca. 450 m Fußweg zum Himmelsschauplatz.
Nestled in the gently rolling hills on the edge of the small Rhön village of Detter in the market town of Zeitlofs, Bad Kissingen district, lies the Detter sky observation point - a place of peace and wonder. Away from artificial light sources, a particularly clear view of the starry night sky opens up here. A polar star finder, a rotating star chart and binoculars make it easy to find your way around the firmament and invite you to discover constellations and celestial bodies on your own. The night sky can be enjoyed in complete relaxation on a comfortable wave lounger. Additional information boards provide information about the importance of protecting the night and raise awareness of the issue of light pollution. A visit during the day is also worthwhile: the site offers a peaceful atmosphere with a view of the surrounding landscape and is an excellent destination or stopover on a hike through the southern Rhön.
Niché dans le doux paysage vallonné en bordure du petit village rhénan de Detter, dans le marché de Zeitlofs, district de Bad Kissingen, le Himmelsschauplatz Detter est un lieu de calme et d'émerveillement. Des panneaux d'information complémentaires informent sur l'importance de la protection de la nuit et sensibilisent au thème de la pollution lumineuse. La visite vaut également la peine pendant la journée : le site offre une atmosphère calme avec vue sur le paysage environnant et convient parfaitement comme destination ou comme étape lors d'une randonnée dans le sud de la Rhön.
