Die Vereinsbrauerei Apolda ist nicht nur ein Unternehmen, sondern ein fester Bestandteil der Geschichte und Identität der Stadt Apolda. 1887 gegründet blickt sie auf eine lange Brautradition in Apolda zurück. Nachweislich wurde seit mindestens 1440 Bier für die eigenen Bürger gebraut. Apoldaer Bier und die Stadt Apolda sind seit dieser Zeit nicht mehr voneinander zu trennen.

Als eine der ältesten Firmen in Apolda überhaupt ist die Vereinsbrauerei tief in der Gemeinschaft verwurzelt. Als Arbeitgeber, Produzent von hochwertigen Bieren und Partner für zahlreiche Veranstaltungen und Projekte engagiert sie sich in vielfältiger Weise für die Region und ihre Bewohner.
