<p>In engem räumlichem und zeitlichem Bezug zum Stadtmauerbau seit 1203/04 wurde das erste Hospital der aufstrebenden Reichsstadt für Alte und Kranke errichtet. Seine um 1270 erbaute Kapelle ist das älteste vollständig erhaltene Sakralgebäude der Stadt. Bis zum Ende des 20. Jahrhunderts diente der Gebäudekomplex als Alten- und Pflegeheim. Zwischenzeitlich als Denkmalpflegebetrieb und Gruppenherberge genutzt, dienen die Gebäude seit 2019 wieder der Inklusion von Menschen mit Behinderung.</p> |

<p>During the relatively short time span of the city wall construction, which began in 1203/04, the aspiring Imperial City erected its first hospital for the old and sick. The hospital’s chapel, built around 1270, is the oldest completely preserved sacral building of the city. Until the end of the twentieth century the building complex served as a nursing home and home for the elderly. After temporarily housing the city’s office for monument preservation and a group hostel, today the building, along with the town houses at Holzstraße 11 and 12, serves as an inclusive community project.</p> |

<p>Le premier hôpital de la ville impériale en plein essor, destiné aux personnes âgées et aux malades, a été construit en étroite relation spatiale et temporelle avec la construction des murs de la ville depuis 1203/04. Sa chapelle, construite vers 1270, est le plus ancien bâtiment religieux entièrement conservé de la ville. Jusqu'à la fin du 20e siècle, le complexe de bâtiments a servi de maison de retraite et de soins. Utilisés entre-temps comme entreprise de conservation du patrimoine et auberge de groupe, les bâtiments servent à nouveau depuis 2019 à l'inclusion de personnes handicapées. </p> |
