Milda est une commune du sud-ouest du district de Saale-Holzland et fait partie de la communauté administrative Südliches Saaletal. La municipalité de Milda comprend Zimmritz, Dürrengleina, Kleinkröbitz et Großkröbitz, Rodias et Plinz. Milda est situé dans la moyenne vallée de la Saale, sur un plateau et pourtant dans un creux du fossé romantique de Leutra. Déjà mentionné vers 1070 sous le nom de "Immelden", le lieu est probablement d'origine slave ou sorabe et a été aménagé comme un "Rundling" avec une seule entrée entre l'église et le presbytère. L'église a été construite comme une église fortifiée, le cimetière étant entouré d'un mur d'un mètre d'épaisseur avec des tours d'angle et des embrasures. Une grande partie de cette fortification est encore préservée aujourd'hui et raconte des histoires intéressantes sur les siècles passés. Milda is a municipality in the southwest of the Saale-Holzland district and a part of the administrative community Südliches Saaletal. The municipality of Milda includes Zimmritz, Dürrengleina, Kleinkröbitz and Großkröbitz, Rodias and Plinz. Milda is situated in the middle Saale valley on a plateau and yet in a hollow in the romantic Leutra ditch. Already mentioned around 1070 as "Immelden", the place is possibly of Slavic or Sorbian origin and was laid out as a so-called Rundling with only one entrance between church and rectory. The church was built as a fortified church, the churchyard surrounded by a one-metre-thick wall with corner towers and embrasures. A large part of this fortification is still preserved today and tells interesting stories of past centuries. Milda ist eine Gemeinde im Südwesten des Saale-Holzland-Kreises und ein Teil der Verwaltungsgemeinschaft Südliches Saaletal. Zur Gemeinde Milda gehören Zimmritz, Dürrengleina, Kleinkröbitz und Großkröbitz, Rodias und Plinz. Milda liegt im mittleren Saaletal auf einem Plateau und doch in einer Mulde im romantischen Leutragraben. Bereits um 1070 als "Immelden" erwähnt, ist der Ort möglicherweise slawischen oder sorbischen Ursprungs und wurde als sogenannter Rundling mit nur einem Eingang zwischen Kirche und Pfarrhaus angelegt. Die Kirche wurde als Wehrkirche errichtet, der Kirchhof von einer ein Meter dicken Mauer mit Ecktürmen und Schießscharten umgeben. Ein großer Teil dieser Wehranlage ist heute noch erhalten und erzählt interessante Geschichten aus vergangenen Jahrhunderten.
