Gauaschach est un quartier de Hammelburg. Le village est situé dans une vallée latérale de l'Aschbach. Il est entouré de vastes champs et de petits bois. Au centre du village, les traces du passé sont encore bien visibles. Gauaschach était autrefois un village agricole fortifié, avec de nombreuses portes de ferme en pierre. La porte sculptée de la maison dite « Schmittroth » se distingue particulièrement. L'église Saint-Sébastien, construite entre 1786 et 1789, vaut également le détour. Un peu à l'écart du village, sur le Hundsfelder Weg, la chapelle Sainte-Marie invite à faire une pause.
Gauaschach is a district of Hammelburg. The village lies in a side valley of the Aschbach. It is surrounded by open fields and small woods. In the village center, traces of the past are still clearly visible. Gauaschach was once a walled farming village with many stone farm gates. The carved farm gate of the so-called Schmittroth House stands out in particular. Also worth seeing is St. Sebastianus Church, which was built between 1786 and 1789. Just outside the village on Hundsfelder Weg, the Marienkapelle invites visitors to pause and reflect.
Gauaschach ist ein Stadtteil von Hammelburg. Das Dorf liegt im Seitental des Aschbachs. Es ist umgeben von weitläufiger Flur und kleinen Wäldern. In der Dorfmitte sind die Spuren der Vergangenheit noch gut sichtbar. Gauaschach war früher ein umfriedetes Bauerndorf mit vielen steinernen Hoftoren. Besonders sticht dabei das geschnitzte Hoftor des sogenannten Schmittroth-Hauses heraus. Ebenfalls sehenswert ist die Kirche St. Sebastianus, welche im Jahr 1786 - 1789 erbaut wurde. Etwas außerhalb des Ortes am Hundsfelder Weg lädt die Marienkapelle zum Innehalten ein.

Gauaschach było niegdyś otoczoną murem wsią rolniczą z licznymi kamiennymi bramami. Szczególnie wyróżnia się rzeźbiona brama tzw. domu Schmittrothów. Warto również zobaczyć kościół św. Sebastiana, który został zbudowany w latach 1786–1789. Nieco poza miejscowością, przy Hundsfelder Weg, kaplica maryjna zachęca do chwili wytchnienia.
