Die ehemalige Malzmühle wird auch als Brücken- oder Entenbühlmühle bezeichnet. Sie wurde im Jahr 1252 erstmals erwähnt und ist damit eine der ältesten Mühlen der Innenstadt. Auch ihre Nutzung im Laufe der Zeit ist immer gleich geblieben. Sie war immer eine Malzmühle. Im Jahr 1914 erfolgte jedoch der Abriss der Mühle und schaffte Platz für Neues. An deren Stelle wurde im Jahr 1937 der Entenbühlbrunnen errichtet, der heute noch zu sehen ist und ein lauschiges Plätzchen mit Sitzbänken zur Erholung darstellt.
