Activité physique : les longues périodes d'inactivité sont interrompues par une multitude d'exercices de relaxation et de mouvement en classe. Les élèves peuvent utiliser divers jeux sportifs pendant les pauses. Eau : les élèves ont la possibilité de faire des bains de bras et de marcher dans l'eau. L'école dispose de ses propres bassins de bras. Un bassin de pédalage se trouve dans le parc thermal de Bad Tennstedt. Ordre de vie : des exercices pour se détendre et se mettre en forme peuvent être découverts afin de les intégrer dans la vie quotidienne. Plantes médicinales : les enfants apprennent des connaissances de base sur les plantes médicinales ou s'occupent d'une série de plantes médicinales dans le cadre de projets, sèchent eux-mêmes des herbes ou préparent des mélanges de tisanes. Erzieher der Grundschule stellen Ihnen zusammen mit dem Kneipp-Verein e.V. die 5 Säulen von Kneipp in der Praxis vor: Ernährung: Die Kinder lernen die Bestandteile der gesunden Ernährung frühzeitig kennen und wie sie selbst z.B. gesundes Frühstück zubereiten können. Im Schulgarten wird Tee angebaut, der später zubereitet wird. Bewegung: langes Stillsitzen wird durch eine Vielzahl an Entspannungs- und Bewegungsübungen im Unterricht unterbrochen. Diverse Sportspiele können die Schüler in den Pausen nutzen. Wasser: Die Schüler erhalten die Möglichkeit Armbäder und Wassertreten durchzuführen. Eigene Armbecken befinden sich in der Schule. Ein Tretbecken im Kurpark von Bad Tennstedt. Lebensordnung: Übungen zum entspannen und fit werden können kennengelernt werden, um sie in den Alltag zu integrieren. Heilpflanzen: Die Kinder lernen Grundwissen über Heilkräuter kennen oder beschäftigen sich in Projekten mit einer Reihe von Heilpflanzen, trocknen selbst Kräuter oder stellen Teemischungen her.
