Aus Vorsicht ließen sich die Brüder das Patronat in regelmäßigen Abständen bestätigen. Gleichwohl wurde die Pfarrkirche zu Tanna vor 1349 durch die Vögte von Gera dem Zisterzienserinnenkloster bei Saalburg inkorporiert. Der Streit hierüber schwelte lange. Die Niederlassung in Tanna war nie groß. Anlässlich der Visitation von 1451 zählte man fünf Priesterbrüder. Die heutige Andreaskirche wurde nach dem Stadtbrand von 1640 neu errichtet. Außer dem Haupteingang, über dem sich eine spätgotische Kreuzigung erhalten hat, verweist vor allem das Kreuzgewölbe mit seinen figürlichen Kapitellen auf den Vorgängerbau. Vor der Kirche befindet sich, etwas versteckt, ein alter Güterstein. Er markierte einmal den Besitz des Ordenshauses in Seubtendorf. 1279 kamen die Tannaer Kirche und ihr Besitz sowie die Tochterkirchen in Zollgrün und Willersdorf unter das Patronat des Deutschen Ordens in Plauen und 1290 unter das des Ordens in Schleiz. Diese Schenkung wird 1296 durch den Geraer Vogt bestätigt und außerdem bestimmt, dass die Ordensbrüder in Tanna ihren Wohnsitz nehmen sollen. Damit wurde Tanna zu einer selbständigen Komturei des Deutschen Ordens erhoben. Tanna erhielt 1494 das Stadtrecht. Um diese Zeit wurde mit dem Neubau der Kirche begonnen. Über dem Südeingang der Kirche befindet sich ihr ältestes erhaltenes Bildwerk; eine im 15. Jahrhundert entstandene Kreuzigungsgruppe aus Sandstein. 1898 wurde die Kirche umfassend im neugotischen Stil renoviert.
As a precaution, the brothers had their patronage confirmed at regular intervals. Nevertheless, the parish church in Tanna was incorporated into the Cistercian convent near Saalburg by the bailiffs of Gera before 1349. The dispute over this smoldered for a long time. The settlement in Tanna was never large. During the visitation of 1451, there were five priest-brothers. The present-day St. Andrew’s Church was rebuilt after the town fire of 1640. Aside from the main entrance, above which a late-Gothic Crucifixion has been preserved, the cross vault with its figurative capitals is the primary feature that recalls the earlier building. In front of the church, somewhat hidden, stands an old boundary stone. It once marked the property of the Order’s house in Seubtendorf. In 1279, the church in Tanna and its properties, as well as the subsidiary churches in Zollgrün and Willersdorf, came under the patronage of the Teutonic Order in Plauen, and in 1290 under that of the Order in Schleiz. This donation was confirmed in 1296 by the bailiff of Gera, who also stipulated that the brothers of the Order were to take up residence in Tanna. Tanna was thus elevated to an independent commandery of the Teutonic Order. Tanna was granted town rights in 1494. Around this time, construction of the new church began. Above the church’s south entrance is its oldest surviving sculptural work: a 15th-century sandstone Crucifixion group. In 1898, the church underwent extensive renovation in the Neo-Gothic style.

Néanmoins, l’église paroissiale de Tanna fut incorporée avant 1349 par les baillis de Gera au couvent des cisterciennes près de Saalburg. Le différend à ce sujet couva longtemps. La communauté de Tanna ne fut jamais très importante. À l’occasion de la visite pastorale de 1451, on compta cinq frères prêtres. L'actuelle église Saint-André a été reconstruite après l'incendie de la ville de 1640. Outre l'entrée principale, au-dessus de laquelle est conservée une crucifixion de style gothique tardif, c'est surtout la voûte en croisée d'ogives, avec ses chapiteaux figuratifs, qui rappelle l'édifice précédent. Devant l'église se trouve, quelque peu à l'écart, une ancienne borne foncière. Elle marquait autrefois la propriété de la maison de l'ordre à Seubtendorf. En 1279, l’église de Tanna et ses biens, ainsi que les églises filiales de Zollgrün et Willersdorf, passèrent sous le patronage de l’Ordre teutonique de Plauen, puis, en 1290, sous celui de l’Ordre de Schleiz. Cette donation fut confirmée en 1296 par le bailli de Gera, qui stipula en outre que les frères de l’Ordre devaient s’établir à Tanna. Tanna fut ainsi élevée au rang de commanderie indépendante de l’Ordre teutonique. Tanna obtint le droit de cité en 1494. C’est à cette époque que débuta la construction de la nouvelle église. Au-dessus de l’entrée sud de l’église se trouve sa plus ancienne œuvre sculpturale conservée : un groupe de la Crucifixion en grès datant du XVe siècle. En 1898, l’église fut entièrement rénovée dans le style néogothique.

Osada w Tanna nigdy nie była duża. Podczas wizytacji w 1451 r. odnotowano obecność pięciu braci kapłanów. Dzisiejszy kościół św. Andrzeja został odbudowany po pożarze miasta w 1640 roku. Oprócz głównego wejścia, nad którym zachowało się późnogotyckie przedstawienie Ukrzyżowania, na poprzednią budowlę wskazuje przede wszystkim sklepienie krzyżowe z figuralnymi kapitelami. Przed kościołem znajduje się, nieco ukryty, stary kamień graniczny. Niegdyś wyznaczał on granice posiadłości klasztoru w Seubtendorfie. W 1279 roku kościół w Tannie wraz z majątkiem oraz kościołami filialnymi w Zollgrün i Willersdorfie przeszedł pod patronat Zakonu Niemieckiego w Plauen, a w 1290 roku – pod patronat zakonu w Schleiz. Darowiznę tę potwierdził w 1296 roku namiestnik z Gery, ustalając ponadto, że bracia zakonni powinni osiedlić się w Tannie. W ten sposób Tanna została podniesiona do rangi samodzielnej komandorii Zakonu Niemieckiego. W 1494 roku Tanna otrzymała prawa miejskie. Mniej więcej w tym czasie rozpoczęto budowę nowego kościoła. Nad południowym wejściem do kościoła znajduje się najstarsza zachowana rzeźba: powstała w XV wieku grupa rzeźbiarska przedstawiająca Ukrzyżowanie, wykonana z piaskowca. W 1898 roku kościół został gruntownie odnowiony w stylu neogotyckim.
