Mehrere Umbauten in Folge von Verschleiß, Bränden und Umnutzungen zum Ende des 17. bis Anfang des 18. Jahrhunderts. 1988 Kauf des Gebäudes durch die Gemeinde und äußerliche Restaurierung zur 800. Jahrfeier des Ortes im Jahr 1989. 2005-2007 Komplettsanierung und Umbau für die Funktionen Mehrzweckraum mit mobiler Bühne, Pausenversorgung und Toilettenanlage einschließlich Behinderten-WC im Erdgeschoß, Heimatmuseum und Bibliothek im Obergeschoß sowie Wohnung und Fundus im Dachgeschoss / Leitung Architekturbüro Krauß & Partner, Schleusingen Auszeichnung mit dem „Thüringer Denkmalschutz-Preis 2010“. Seit dieser Zeit dient es als kultureller Treffpunkt für viele selbst organisierte Veranstaltungen aller Arten. Der Förderverein Nahetal e.V. mit seinem sehr rührigen „Brandtsköppshaus-Team“ bewirtschaftet dieses historische Gebäude. Wir sehen es wichtige Aufgabe, regelmäßig neue und interessante Veranstaltungen für die Einwohner von Schleusingen und ihre Gäste zu organisieren.
Built in 1607 as a farmstead with a residential building, stables, and barn, incorporating the remains of a previous building. Several renovations due to wear and tear, fires, and changes in use at the end of the 17th and beginning of the 18th centuries. Plusieurs transformations suite à l'usure, aux incendies et aux changements d'affectation entre la fin du XVIIe et le début du XVIIIe siècle. En 1988, achat du bâtiment par la commune et restauration extérieure à l'occasion du 800e anniversaire du village en 1989. 2005-2007 : rénovation complète et transformation pour accueillir une salle polyvalente avec scène mobile, un espace de restauration et des toilettes, y compris des toilettes pour personnes handicapées au rez-de-chaussée, un musée régional et une bibliothèque à l'étage, ainsi qu'un appartement et un local de stockage dans les combles / Direction : cabinet d'architectes Krauß & Partner, Schleusingen Distinction avec le « Prix de la protection des monuments historiques de Thuringe 2010 ». Depuis lors, il sert de lieu de rencontre culturel pour de nombreux événements auto-organisés de toutes sortes. Nous considérons qu'il est important d'organiser régulièrement des événements nouveaux et intéressants pour les habitants de Schleusingen et leurs invités.
