Egal ob Groß oder Klein, für jeden Besucher des Erlebnisweges gibt es Dinge zu entdecken und Geheimnisse zu lüften. So löst sich z. B. das Rätsel um den Namen der Kleinbahn „Laura“. Von Informationstafeln an vier Stationen des Weges über drei unterschiedlich gestaltete Themenspielplätze bis hin zur stillen Aussicht auf einem kleinen „Aussichtswagon“ bietet der Erlebnisweg viel Abwechslung auf kurzer Strecke. Mit diesem Erlebnisweg wird einerseits an die Verkehrsgeschichte am Rennsteig erinnert und andererseits eine weitere Attraktion für Wanderer entlang des bekanntesten deutschen Wanderweges - dem Rennsteig - angeboten. Außerdem führt der Weg am Bunkermusem vorbei. Hier wird längst vergessene DDR-Geschichte wieder lebendig.  Wer Lust hat noch mehr Eisenbahn zu entdecken geht den alten Bahndam bis zuzur Mitte von Frauenwald weiter. Einkehrmöglichkeiten befinden sich am Bahnhof Rennsteig und in Frauenwald.

Que vous soyez grand ou petit, chaque visiteur du parcours découverte a des choses à découvrir et des secrets à dévoiler. Par exemple, le mystère du nom de la petite voie ferrée "Laura" se résout. Des panneaux d'information à quatre stations du chemin, en passant par trois aires de jeux thématiques conçues différemment jusqu'à la paisible vue depuis un petit "wagon d'observation", le parcours découverte offre beaucoup de variété sur une courte distance. Avec ce parcours découverte, on se souvient d'une part de l'histoire des transports au Rennsteig, et d'autre part une autre attraction est proposée aux randonneurs le long du sentier de randonnée allemand le plus connu - le Rennsteig. En outre, le chemin passe devant le musée du bunker. Ici, l'histoire oubliée de la RDA redevient vivante.  Ceux qui souhaitent découvrir encore plus de chemins de fer peuvent poursuivre le vieux remblai jusqu'au milieu de Frauenwald. Des possibilités de restauration se trouvent à la gare de Rennsteig et à Frauenwald.

Whether big or small, every visitor to the adventure path has things to discover and secrets to uncover. For example, the mystery of the name of the narrow-gauge railway “Laura” is solved. From information boards at four stations along the path through three differently designed themed playgrounds to the quiet view from a small “observation wagon,” the adventure path offers a lot of variety over a short distance. This adventure path both commemorates the transport history at the Rennsteig and offers another attraction for hikers along Germany’s most famous hiking trail - the Rennsteig. Additionally, the path leads past the bunker museum, where long-forgotten GDR history comes to life again. If you want to discover even more railway, continue along the old railway embankment to the middle of Frauenwald. Dining options are available at Rennsteig station and in Frauenwald.
