Der Spaziergang über den Triptiser Hocker birgt bei schönem Wetter fantastische Ausblicke über die Stadt und auf die historischen Gebäude, wie Schlossturm und Stadtkirche. Der Start am Brunnen auf dem Marktplatz birgt eine erste schöne Szene. Die gut sanierte Altstadt erwartet den Besucher mit einem von Mai bis Oktober lebendig plätschernden Marktbrunnen. Zwischen Stadtkirche und Bürgerhaus/Bibliothek geht es in Richtung Strobelplatz. Hier kommt man dem historischen Turm der einstigen Wasserburg von den Herren Lobdeburg-Arnshaugk aus dem 13. Jahrhundert am nächsten. Weiter geht es entlang des Stadtteiches mit seinen vielen verschiednene Enten durch den Stadtpark. Nach dem Stadtpark biegt man in den Mörlaweg ein. Der Name dieses Weges beruht auf einer Sage, die zu Gründerzeiten der Stadt Triptis einen Ortsteil beschreibt, der vermutlich im Vogtländischen Krieg zerstört wurde. Gehen Sie diesen Weg bis zum links auf der Anhöhe liegenden kleinen Hockerschlösschen. Davor halten Sie sich Rechts durch das Wäldchen und kommen an der Autobahn 9 entlang über einen kleinen Waldweg auf die Leubsdorfer Straße. Straßenbegleitend führt der Spaziergang nun in Richtung Stadt zurück und schneidet einen anderen Teil des Stadtparkes, der noch bis in das frühe 19. Jahrhundert ein Sumpfgebiet war. Am Ausgang des Stadtparkes passiert man das letzte Stück der historischen Stadtmauer. Quer über den Schlossplatz hat man den Marktplatz wieder erreicht.

La promenade continue le long de l'étang de la ville avec ses nombreux canards différents à travers le parc de la ville. Après le parc, on tourne dans le Mörlaweg. Le nom de ce chemin provient d'une légende décrivant un quartier fondé à l'époque de la création de Triptis, probablement détruit pendant la guerre du Vogtland. Suivez ce chemin jusqu'au petit château Hocker sur la colline à gauche. Juste avant, tournez à droite à travers le bois et rejoignez l'autoroute 9 en longeant un petit sentier forestier menant à la rue Leubsdorfer. En longeant la rue, la promenade retourne vers la ville et traverse une autre partie du parc de la ville, qui était une zone marécageuse jusqu'au début du XIXe siècle. À la sortie du parc, on passe le dernier tronçon des murs historiques de la ville. En traversant la place du château, on revient à la place du marché.

The walk over the Triptis Hocker offers fantastic views over the city and historic buildings like the castle tower and city church on a nice day. Starting at the fountain on the market square presents a first beautiful scene. The well-renovated old town welcomes visitors with a lively market fountain that bubbles from May to October. Between the city church and civic center/library, you head towards Strobelplatz. Here you come closest to the historic tower of the former water castle of the Lords of Lobdeburg-Arnshaugk from the 13th century. It continues along the city pond with its many different ducks through the city park. After the city park, turn into Mörlaweg. The name of this path is based on a legend describing a district during the founding times of Triptis, presumably destroyed in the Vogtland War. Follow this path to the small Hocker castle on the left on the hill. Before that, keep right through the little forest and come alongside the Autobahn 9 via a small forest path to Leubsdorfer Street. The walk alongside the road now leads back towards the city and crosses another part of the city park, which was still a swamp area until the early 19th century. At the exit of the city park, you pass the last section of the historic city wall. Across the castle square, you have reached the market square again.
