Beginnend am Fuße des Jenzigs, schlängelt sich der Saurierpfad in mehreren Serpentinen bis hinauf zur Spitze. Unterwegs erfahren Sie an vielen Stationen Interessantes zu Sauriern und deren Lebensraum im Erdzeitalter der Trias vor 250 Millionen Jahren. Geologische Besonderheiten, Fossilien sowie die Entstehungsgeschichte des Jenzigs werden verständlich erklärt. Besonders für Kinder ist der Pfad sehr anschaulich gestaltet - Sie folgen Saurierspuren von Station zu Station und werden von Trixi per Audioguide begleitet. Die 360°-Panoramen lassen Sie in längst vergangene Welten eintauchen. Oben angekommen, bietet sich ein phantastischer Ausblick über das heutige Saaletal und bei Bedarf kann eine kleine Rast im Berggasthaus Jenzig eingelegt werden.

Commencant au pied du Jenzig, le parcours des dinosaures serpente en plusieurs lacets jusqu'au sommet. En chemin, vous découvrirez à plusieurs stations des informations intéressantes sur les dinosaures et leur habitat à l’époque du Trias, il y a 250 millions d'années. Il y a des figures de dinosaures grandeur nature qui peuvent être animées avec la réalité augmentée (téléchargez d’abord l'application SaurierPfad Jena iOS / Android). Les particularités géologiques, les fossiles ainsi que l’histoire de formation du Jenzig sont expliqués de façon claire. Le parcours est particulièrement imagé pour les enfants – vous suivez les traces des dinosaures de station en station et êtes accompagné par Trixi via audioguide. Les panoramas à 360° vous plongent dans des mondes d’antan. Arrivé en haut, vous bénéficiez d’une vue fantastique sur la vallée actuelle de la Saale et vous pouvez faire une petite pause à la gastronomie de montagne Jenzig si vous le souhaitez.

Starting at the foot of the Jenzig, the Dinosaur Trail winds upward in several switchbacks to the summit. Along the way, you will learn interesting facts about dinosaurs and their habitat during the Triassic period 250 million years ago at many stations. There are life-sized dinosaur figures that can be brought to life with Augmented Reality (download the SaurierPfad Jena app beforehand iOS / Android). Geological features, fossils, and the formation history of the Jenzig are clearly explained. The trail is especially visually designed for children - you follow dinosaur footprints from station to station and are accompanied by Trixi via audio guide. The 360° panoramas allow you to immerse yourself in worlds long past. Once at the top, you can enjoy a fantastic view over the present-day Saale valley and, if desired, take a short break at the Jenzig mountain inn.
