Einst grub das Bergbauunternehmen Wismut mit seinem Uranabbau unter Tage tiefe Wunden in die Landschaft. Im Rahmen der Bundesgartenschau 2007 wurde das Gebiet der einstigen Halde Beerwalde rund um den Förderturm in Löbichau in ein Landschaftsdenkmal umgewandelt. Unter dem Projektnamen "Resurrektion Aurora" entstand ein atemberaubendes Areal, welches sich bis nach Ronneburg zieht. Über allem thront die majestätische Burg Posterstein. Sie gilt als eines der besterhaltenen Ensembles Thüringens und ist auf jeden Fall einen Besuch wert. Diese Radroute ist ein Rundweg, im südlichsten Teil des Landkreises und erschließt die Region um Posterstein, Heukewalde, Thonhausen und Vollmershain und führt ins angrenzende sächsische Gebiet bei Crimmitschau, mit dem touristischen Ausflugsziel Schloss Blankenhain. Autrefois, l’entreprise minière Wismut avait creusé d’importantes cicatrices dans le paysage avec son extraction d’uranium en souterrain. Dans le cadre de l’exposition horticole fédérale de 2007, la zone de l’ancienne décharge Beerwalde autour du puits d’extraction à Löbichau a été transformée en monument paysager. Sous le nom de projet "Resurrektion Aurora", un site impressionnant s’est créé, qui s’étend jusqu’à Ronneburg. Au-dessus de tout cela trône le majestueux château de Posterstein. Il est considéré comme l’un des ensembles les mieux conservés de Thuringe et vaut absolument le détour. Ce parcours vélo est une boucle, située dans la partie la plus au sud du district, et il explore la région autour de Posterstein, Heukewalde, Thonhausen et Vollmershain. Am Schloss Teich Einmündung in Straße „Am Koberbach“ –Wegweiser nach links Richtung Crimmitschau. * Nach 1,5 km bis Abzweig nach Rußdorf –ACHTUNG! hier steht kein Wegweiser- unbedingt links abbiegen Richtung Mannichswalde über Rußdorf stetig bergan nach Mannichswalde. * Mannichswalde – wird nach 1,5 km auf der Landstraße erreicht, am Ortseingang nach links –Wegweiser Richtung Ronneburg-Thonhausen –weiter auf Ortsstraße zum Abzweig zum Waldbad in der Ortsmitte-Wegweiser Richtung Ronneburg gerade weiter auf Thonhausener Straße zur Landstraße am Ortsende –ca. 1,5 km bis Abzweig nach Crimmitschau-Rudelswalde –weiter geradeaus Wegweiser nach Thonhausen * Thonhausen nach weiteren 2km am Ortseingang auf kurzen Radweg in den Ort bis zur Kirche am Abzweig nach Heyersdorf , hier halblinks Richtung Wetteswalde (Wegweiser !) * Wettelswalde nach ca.1km auf Dorfstraße am Gasthof nach rechts und dahinter links ab zum neuen Radweg - Richtung Vollmershain , entlang der Mannichswalder Sprotte * Vollmershain am Ortsanfang nach 1km endet Radweg, nach rechts auf Dorfstr. vorbei am Eiscafe und Minigolf ( Einkehrrast-Möglichkeit) weiter ca. 3km durch den Ort bis Abzweig nach Nöbdenitz – Zwischenwegweiser geradeaus weiter Richtung Posterstein-stetig bergauf auf Dorfstraße * Posterstein auf Dorfstr. ca. 2,5km wird Posterstein erreicht, am Gutsacker-Wegweiser an Kreuzung Schulberg /zur Rothenmühle -nach links Richtung Burg zum Ausgangspunkt der Tour

Signalisation * plaque vert clair sur les poteaux de signalisation Départ Commune de Posterstein * Parking Burghof Posterstein Itinéraire - section complète du trajet * Posterstein : départ du parcours circulaire au point INFO dans le Burghof, à côté du parking - tout droit "am Hofgarten" puis à droite dans le lotissement EH, ensuite direction Heukewalde jusqu'à la sortie du village - sur une petite route de campagne d'environ 2,5 km jusqu'à Heukewalde * Heukewalde : tout droit à travers le village, en passant par les embranchements vers Vollmershain et Jonaswalde, possibilité de restauration à la belle auberge campagnarde, sinon continuer sur la rue du village vers Nischwitz. * Nischwitz : atteint après 3 km supplémentaires, à la sortie du village panneau indicateur à un carrefour triangulaire – continuer tout droit vers Blankenhain sur la route de district K 504 environ 2 km jusqu'à l'intersection avec la "Hohe Straße" – traverser cette route venant de Seelingstädt et continuer vers Blankenhain. * Blankenhain : légèrement en descente sur la "Straße an der Windmühle", on arrive au château de Blankenhain – possibilité de visiter le musée agricole dans le château. Au bassin du château, intersection avec la rue "Am Koberbach" – panneau indicateur à gauche vers Crimmitschau. * Après 1,5 km jusqu'à l'embranchement vers Rußdorf – ATTENTION ! il n'y a pas de panneau indicateur ici – il faut absolument tourner à gauche direction Mannichswalde via Rußdorf, montée constante vers Mannichswalde. * Mannichswalde : atteint après 1,5 km sur la route de campagne, à l'entrée du village tourner à gauche – panneau indicateur vers Ronneburg-Thonhausen – continuer sur la rue du village jusqu'à la bifurcation pour la piscine forestière au centre du village – panneau indicateur vers Ronneburg, puis continuer tout droit sur la rue de Thonhausen jusqu'à la route de campagne à la sortie du village – environ 1,5 km jusqu'à l'embranchement vers Crimmitschau-Rudelswalde – continuer tout droit, panneau indicateur vers Thonhausen. * Thonhausen : après 2 km supplémentaires, à l’entrée du village, emprunter un court chemin cyclable vers le village jusqu'à l'église à l’embranchement vers Heyersdorf, ici tourner légèrement à gauche vers Wetteswalde (panneau indicateur !) * Wettelswalde : après environ 1 km sur la rue du village, au niveau de l'auberge, tourner à droite puis juste après à gauche vers la nouvelle piste cyclable – direction Vollmershain, le long de la Mannichswalder Sprotte * Vollmershain : à l'entrée du village, après 1 km la piste cyclable s’arrête, tourner à droite sur la rue du village, passer le café glacier et le minigolf (possibilité de pause restauration), continuer environ 3 km à travers le village jusqu'à l'embranchement vers Nöbdenitz – panneau indicateur intermédiaire tout droit vers Posterstein, montée constante sur la rue du village. * Posterstein : sur la rue du village, atteint après environ 2,5 km, au panneau indicateur Gutsacker à l’intersection Schulberg / zur Rothenmühle – tourner à gauche vers le château, point de départ du parcours

Signposting * Light green plaque on sign trees Start Municipality of Posterstein * Car park Burghof Posterstein Route course - complete section * Posterstein: Start of the circular route at the INFO point in the Burghof, next to the car park - straight ahead “am Hofgarten” then right into EH settlement then towards Heukewalde to the edge of the village - on a narrow country road about 2.5 km to Heukewalde * Heukewalde straight through the village, past the turnoffs to Vollmershain and Jonaswalde, dining option at the lovely country inn, otherwise continuing on the village road to Nischwitz. * Nischwitz is reached after a further 3 km, at the village exit signpost at street triangle – here continue straight towards Blankenhain on district road K 504 about 2 km to the junction with “Hohe Straße” – country road from Seelingstädt – cross this and continue to Blankenhain. * Blankenhain - slightly downhill on the street “an der Windmühle” you arrive at Blankenhain Castle - possibility to visit the Agricultural Museum in the castle. At the castle pond the junction with the street “Am Koberbach” – signpost left towards Crimmitschau. * After 1.5 km to the turnoff to Rußdorf – ATTENTION! no signpost here – you must turn left towards Mannichswalde via Rußdorf, steadily uphill to Mannichswalde. * Mannichswalde – reached after 1.5 km on the country road, turn left at the village entrance – signpost towards Ronneburg-Thonhausen – continue on the village street to the turnoff to the forest bath in the village center – signpost towards Ronneburg straight ahead on Thonhausener street to the country road at the village edge – about 1.5 km to the turnoff to Crimmitschau-Rudelswalde – continue straight ahead signpost to Thonhausen. * Thonhausen after another 2 km at the village entrance on a short cycle path into the village to the church at the turnoff to Heyersdorf, here half left towards Wetteswalde (signpost!) * Wettelswalde after about 1 km on the village street at the inn turn right and then left to the new cycle path – towards Vollmershain, along the Mannichswalder Sprotte river * Vollmershain at the village entrance the cycle path ends after 1 km, right onto the village street past the ice cream cafe and mini golf (dining/rest option), continue approx. 3 km through the village to the turnoff to Nöbdenitz – intermediate signpost straight ahead towards Posterstein – steadily uphill on the village street * Posterstein on the village street approx. 2.5 km reached Posterstein, at the Gutsacker signpost at the intersection Schulberg / to Rothenmühle - turn left towards the castle to the start point of the route
