Die Route startet in Saalfeld und führt entlang der Saale nach Schwarza und über Bad Blankenburg hinein ins Schwarzatal. Mit knackigen Anstiegen geht es in Richtung Silberberg, vorbei am Griesbachfelsen, der Teufelstreppe und dem Fürstenstand. Durch die Orte Böhlscheibe und Cordobang gelangt man über den Trippstein, mit herrlichem Blick ins Schwarzatal, schließlich nach Schwarzburg. Das Zeughaus von Schloss Schwarzburg zeigt die älteste und einzig noch komplett erhaltene fürstliche Zeughaussammlung Deutschlands. Ein kleines aber feines Highlight findet sich im weiteren Verlauf - die Wasserschaukel direkt an der Schwarza. Bergauf verläuft die Tour dann über breite Forstwege vorbei am Mooshäuschen zur Dittersdorfer Höhe mit einem herrlichen Panorama. Vom höchsten Punkt der Tour geht es dann auf breiten Forststraßen und Waldwegen wieder zügig hinunter ins Schwarzatal, bis zum Jagdschloss Eberstein. Auf dem anschließenden Singletrail kommt man über die Fischaufzuchtstation zurück nach Bad Blankenburg - ein kurzer Halt am Chrysopras-Wehr darf hier nicht fehlen. Von dort geht es über die Kupferstraße zurück zum Ausgangspunkt der Tour.

Le parcours commence à Saalfeld et longe la Saale jusqu'à Schwarza, puis via Bad Blankenburg dans la vallée de Schwarzatal. Avec des montées raides, le parcours mène vers Silberberg, passe par le Griesbachfelsen, la Teufelstreppe et le Fürstenstand. À travers les localités de Böhlscheibe et Cordobang, on atteint via Trippstein, avec une vue splendide sur la vallée de Schwarzatal, enfin Schwarzburg. L'Arsenal du château de Schwarzburg montre la plus ancienne et la seule collection d’arsenal princière entièrement conservée en Allemagne. Un petit mais charmant point fort se trouve plus loin : la balançoire aquatique directement sur la Schwarza. Ensuite, le parcours monte par de larges chemins forestiers passant par la cabane Mooshäuschen jusqu'au sommet de Dittersdorf avec un panorama magnifique. Du point le plus haut, on descend rapidement par de larges pistes forestières et sentiers jusqu'à la vallée de Schwarzatal, jusqu'au château de chasse Eberstein. Sur le singletrail suivant, on passe par l’élevage piscicole pour retourner à Bad Blankenburg – une courte halte au barrage Chrysopras est un passage obligé. De là, le parcours revient à son point de départ via la Kupferstraße.

The route starts in Saalfeld and runs along the Saale to Schwarza and over Bad Blankenburg into the Schwarzatal. With steep climbs it goes towards Silberberg, past the Griesbachfelsen, the Teufelstreppe, and the Fürstenstand. Through the towns Böhlscheibe and Cordobang, you reach Schwarzburg over the Trippstein, with a magnificent view of the Schwarzatal. The armory of Schwarzburg Castle shows the oldest and only completely preserved princely armory collection in Germany. A small but fine highlight can be found further on - the water swing directly on the Schwarza. Uphill, the tour runs along wide forest paths past the Mooshäuschen to Dittersdorfer Höhe with a wonderful panorama. From the highest point of the tour, it goes briskly downhill on wide forest roads and woodland paths back into the Schwarzatal, to the Eberstein hunting lodge. On the following single trail, you come back via the fish breeding station to Bad Blankenburg - a short stop at Chrysopras dam must not be missed here. From there, it goes over Kupferstraße back to the starting point of the tour.
