Cette étape variée passe par les vignobles situés au nord de Jena et est conçue comme un parcours circulaire. Depuis le parking de randonnée ou l'arrêt de bus, la route commence initialement en direction de la Saale, puis bifurque vers le château de Kunitz et monte le long du coteau viticole du Grafenberg. Un arrêt à la forteresse de Kunitz est vivement recommandé, la vue sur la vallée de la Saale y est merveilleuse. Près de la cabane de Kunitz, le chemin tourne à gauche en direction de Golmsdorf et débouche sur un chemin de crête. La forêt s'ouvre et le sentier passe par une prairie près du vignoble "Golmsdorfer Gleisberg", où poussent à l'abri les cépages Kerner et Auxerrois. Le sentier continue sur un chemin de terre, puis monte raide à travers une hêtraie jusqu'au Großer Gleisberg et retourne à Kunitz en douceur.

This varied stage passes the vineyards north of Jena and is designed as a circular route. From the hiking parking lot or bus stop, the route initially goes towards the Saale, then turns towards Kunitz Castle and leads uphill past the Grafenberg vineyard slope. A stop at Kunitz Castle is highly recommended, as the view into the Saale valley is wonderful. At the Kunitz Castle hut, the path turns left towards Golmsdorf and leads onto a ridge trail. The forest opens up and the path goes over a meadow by the "Golmsdorfer Gleisberg" vineyard, where the protected varieties Kerner and Auxerrois grow. Along a field path, then steeply uphill through beech forest to the Großer Gleisberg and Kunitz Castle – from there it's an easy walk back to Kunitz.

Die abwechslungsreiche Etappe führt an den nördlich von Jena gelegenen Weinbergen vorbei und ist als Rundweg gestaltet. Vom Wanderparkplatz oder der Bushaltestelle verläuft die Tour zunächst in Richtung Saale, biegt dann Richtung Gleisburg ab und führt am Weinhang des Grafenbergs bergan. Unbedingt empfiehlt sich ein Stopp an der Gleisburg, die Aussicht ins Saaletal ist wunderbar. An der Kunitzburgbaude zweigt der Weg links in Richtung Golmsdorf ab und mündet in einem Kammweg. Der Wald öffnet sich und der Weg führt über eine Wiese am Weinberg „Golmsdorfer Gleisberg“ vorbei, wo in geschützter Lage die Sorten Kerner und Auxerrois gedeihen. Einen Feldweg entlang, dann durch Buchenwald steil bergan auf den großen Gleisberg und zur Gleisburg – von dort läuft es sich locker zurück nach Kunitz.

Ein Pfad führt auf dem Plateau durch herrlichen Laubwald und mündet in einem Kammweg. Sie haben Ausblicke ins Saale- und Gleistal. Allmählich steigen Sie bergab, der Wald öffnet sich und die Wiesen und Felder um Golmsdorf/ Beutnitz kommen zum Vorschein. In der Ferne können Sie die Dornburger Schlösser und die Zietzschkuppe erahnen. Überqueren Sie die Wiese und folgen dem Pfad nach links. Am Wegweiser biegen Sie rechts Richtung Beutnitz ab, passieren den Weinberg Golmsdorfer Gleisberg sowie Obstbäume bis Sie an einem gemauerten Stall nach links abbiegen. Folgen Sie dem Feldweg bis die Markierung der SaaleHorizontale nach rechts weist. Zwischen Feldern laufen Sie stetig bergan und biegen an der nächsten Weggabelung nach rechts Richtung Kunitzburg. Zwischen Waldrand und Obstgehölzen verläuft der Wanderweg stetig bergan und mündet in einen hallenartigen Buchenbestand. Der Wanderweg steigt zum Teil steil bergan bis Sie das Plateau des Großen Gleisberges erneut erreichen. Hier besteht die Möglichkeit eines lohnenden Abstechers zum Königsstuhl, einem Ausblick über Beutnitz und den Weinberg Golmsdorfer Gleisberg. Weiter geht es auf der SaaleHorizontale Richtung Laasan/ Kunitzburg. Der Wanderweg verläuft an der Hangkante sodass Sie herrliche Ausblicke auf Laasan und den Jenzigrücken haben. Halten Sie sich zweimal links bei Wegegabelungen und folgen Sie der Markierung. Sie laufen durch wunderschönen Buchen- und Eichenwald und folgen am Wegweiser der Ausschilderung Richtung Kunitzburg/ Kunitz. Damit verlassen Sie die SaaleHorizontale und steigen den roten Wanderweg (100-km-Horizontale) bergab ins Tal nach Kunitz zurück zum Ausgangspunkt der Wanderung.

Traversez la prairie et suivez le sentier vers la gauche. Au panneau, tournez à droite en direction de Beutnitz, passez par le vignoble Golmsdorfer Gleisberg ainsi que des arbres fruitiers jusqu’à un bâtiment en pierre où vous tournerez à gauche. Suivez le chemin de terre jusqu’au balisage de la SaaleHorizontale qui indique vers la droite. Vous marchez toujours en montée entre champs et à la prochaine bifurcation, tournez à droite en direction de Kunitzburg. Le sentier passe entre la lisière de la forêt et des arbustes fruitiers, puis monte vers un bosquet de hêtres en forme de halle. Le chemin monte parfois raide jusqu’à atteindre à nouveau le plateau du Großer Gleisberg. Vous pouvez faire un détour intéressant vers le Königsstuhl, un point de vue sur Beutnitz et le vignoble Golmsdorfer Gleisberg. Cross the meadow and follow the path to the left. At the signpost turn right towards Beutnitz, pass the Golmsdorfer Gleisberg vineyard and fruit trees until you turn left at a brick barn. Follow the field path until the SaaleHorizontale marker points right. Between fields, you walk steadily uphill and at the next fork turn right towards Kunitz Castle. Between the forest edge and orchards, the hiking trail leads steadily uphill and enters a hall-like beech forest. The trail climbs steeply in parts until you reach the plateau of the Großer Gleisberg again. Here there is the option of a rewarding detour to the Königstuhl, a viewpoint over Beutnitz and the Golmsdorfer Gleisberg vineyard. Continue on the SaaleHorizontale towards Laasan/Kunitz Castle. The trail runs along the edge of the slope, offering wonderful views over Laasan and the Jenzigrücken ridge. Keep left twice at forks and follow the markers.
