Unsere Tour geht vom Wanderparkplatz an der Gaststätte Auerhahn über die Hohe Tanne zur Schutzhütte an der Hirtenwiese vorbei am Hotel Gabelbach erreichen wir das Jagdhaus Gabelbach mit Museum. Über den Stadtilmer Platz geht es zum Goethehäuschen. Von hier ist man in ca. 5 Minuten am Aussichtsturm mit Gaststätte auf dem Kickelhahn. Ein umfassender Rundblick über den Thüringer Wald und dessen Vorland belohnt den Wanderer.

Notre parcours démarre du parking de randonnée au restaurant Auerhahn, passe par la Hohe Tanne jusqu'à l'abri à Hirtenwiese, longe l'hôtel Gabelbach et nous atteignons le Jagdhaus Gabelbach avec musée. Par la place Stadtilmer, on arrive au Goethehäuschen. Depuis là, il faut environ 5 minutes pour atteindre le belvédère avec restaurant au Kickelhahn. Une vue panoramique complète sur la forêt de Thuringe et ses contreforts récompense le randonneur.

Our route goes from the hiking parking lot at the guesthouse Auerhahn over the Hohe Tanne to the shelter at Hirtenwiese, passing the Gabelbach Hotel we reach the Hunting Lodge Gabelbach with Museum. Over Stadtilmer Square it goes to the Goethe Cottage. From here, it is about a 5-minute walk to the viewing tower with guesthouse on the Kickelhahn. A comprehensive panoramic view over the Thuringian Forest and its foreland rewards the hiker.
