About: Pfad der Ottonen Parcours des Ottoniens Path of the Ottonians

Entdecken Sie das Leben im Mittelalter und die vier Burgen des Hausbergs. Schauen Sie sich an, wie es hier während der letzten Jahrhunderte aussah oder entdecken besondere Pflanzen. An Stationen mit Schautafeln und Aktionselementen werden die Wandernden auf kreative Art unterhalten und über die Zeit des Mittelalters und die Nutzungsformen damals und heute informiert. Manch verborgene Schatz oder Tricks der Pflanzen kommen zum Vorschein. Von der Begrüßungsstation an der Haltestelle Ziegenhain geht es durch den ursprünglichen Ort Ziegenhain, vorbei am Dorffriedhof, einen steilen Anstieg über Wiesen und durch Wälder bis zum Fuchsturm. Hier oben befanden sich einst vier mittelalterliche Burganlagen, eine davon diente den Ottonen als Königspfalz. Der Fuchsturm, eines der sieben Wunder Jenas und Highlight des Pfades, steht noch heute für die einstigen Burgen des Jenaer Saaletales. Über verschiedene Stationen zum Stadtklima und den Orchideen geht es durch eine Gartenanlage zurück ins Tal.

Discover life in the Middle Ages and the four castles of the local mountain. See how it looked here during the past centuries or discover special plants. At stations with display boards and interactive elements, hikers are creatively entertained and informed about the Middle Ages and the usage forms then and now. Some hidden treasures or tricks of plants come to light. From the welcome station at Ziegenhain bus stop, it goes through the original village of Ziegenhain, past the village cemetery, a steep climb over meadows and through forests to the Fuchsturm. Up here, there were once four medieval castle complexes, one of which served the Ottonians as a royal palace. The Fuchsturm, one of Jena's seven wonders and the highlight of the trail, still stands for the former castles of the Jena Saale valley. Via various stations on urban climate and orchids, the path leads back through a garden area to the valley.

Par différentes stations sur le climat urbain et les orchidées, le chemin passe par un jardin pour revenir dans la vallée.
