Die lange Version der Rundtour beginnt am Modellpark "Mini-a-thür". Die Route führt über die Rennsteigleiter zunächst auf die Hubertuswiese und weiter zum Abzweig Zollstock auf den Rennsteig. Der Wachstein (ca. 550m NN) ist dann schnell erreicht. Ein schöner Blick auf die Felsen des Hansbachtals, auf die sogenannten Hangsteine , wird geboten. Über den Grebestein geht es erneut zur Hubertuswiese, von dort weiter zum Alexanderturm (+21m) auf den Ringberg (639m NN). Vom Alexanderturm reicht die Sicht bei guten Wetter bis hin zum Brocken (100 km nördlich), dem Hohen Meißner (50 km NW) und der Rhön (60 km SSW). Zurück geht es über den Emmytempel zum Modellpark "Mini-a-thür".

La version longue de la boucle commence au parc de modèles "Mini-a-thür". The long version of the circular route starts at the "Mini-a-thür" model park. The route initially follows the Rennsteigleiter to the Hubertus Meadow and continues to the Zollstock junction on the Rennsteig. The Wachstein (about 550m above sea level) is then quickly reached. A beautiful view of the rocks of the Hansbach valley, the so-called Hangsteine, is offered.
