Von der Bachstadt Arnstadt führt die Wanderroute entlang der Gera und durch eine naturbelassene Auenwaldlandschaft. Vor der Ortslage Ichtershausen wird ein ehemaliger Baggerteich angelaufen. Der Abbau von Kies endete im Jahr 1976. Nunmehr ist der Teich ein kleines Erholungsgebiet, der insbesondere von den Angelfreunden geschätzt wird. Vom Ortsteil Rudisleben führt der Weg vom Flußlauf der Gera zur Wipfra. Über Ettischleben, Marlishausen und Hausen wird dieser Bach flußaufwärts begleitet. Nach Hausen wird die Wipfra verlassen und die Route führt in das Naturschutzgebiet Hain. Dieses zeichnet sich durch einen Mischwaldbestand aus. Nach dem NSG wird ein kleiner Burgberg erreicht. Auf diesem stand einst die Käfernburg. Sie wurde bereits im Jahr 1141 urkundlich erwähnt und ging im Jahr 1446 in den Besitz der Grafen von Schwarzburg über. Von der Burg sind nurnoch die ehemaligen Wallanlagen erkennbar. Über Oberndorf führt die Route zurück zum Ausgangspunkt der Wanderung.

Depuis la ville de Bach Arnstadt, l'itinéraire de randonnée suit la Gera à travers une forêt alluviale naturelle. Avant d'arriver à Ichtershausen, on passe par un ancien étang de dragage. L'exploitation des graviers s'est terminée en 1976. Actuellement, l'étang constitue une petite zone de détente appréciée en particulier par les amateurs de pêche. Depuis le quartier de Rudisleben, le chemin suit le cours de la Gera vers la Wipfra. À travers Ettischleben, Marlishausen et Hausen, ce ruisseau est accompagné dans son cours supérieur. Après Hausen, la Wipfra est quittée et la route mène à la réserve naturelle Hain, caractérisée par une forêt mixte. Après la réserve, une petite colline abritant autrefois la Käfernburg est atteinte. Celle-ci est mentionnée pour la première fois dans un document en 1141 et est passée en 1446 en possession des comtes de Schwarzburg. Il ne reste que les anciennes fortifications entourant le château. Par Oberndorf, l'itinéraire revient au point de départ de la randonnée.

From the Bach city of Arnstadt, the hiking route leads along the Gera and through a natural floodplain forest. In front of the district of Ichtershausen, a former gravel pond is passed. Gravel excavation ended in 1976. Now the pond is a small recreational area, especially popular with fishing enthusiasts. From the district of Rudisleben, the path leads from the course of the Gera to the Wipfra. Over Ettischleben, Marlishausen and Hausen, this stream is accompanied upstream. After Hausen, the Wipfra is left and the route leads into the Hain nature reserve. This is characterized by mixed forest stands. After the nature reserve, a small castle hill is reached. The Käfernburg once stood here. It was first mentioned in 1141 and came into the possession of the Counts of Schwarzburg in 1446. Only the former ramparts of the castle are still recognizable. Via Oberndorf, the route leads back to the starting point of the hike.

Le point de départ est le Lutherbuche. C'est l'intersection des étapes * Erfurt-Arnstadt * Arnstadt - Paulinzella * Arnstadt - Gotha du chemin de Luther de Thuringe et c'est le début d'un petit sentier de randonnée menant à l'église nuptiale de Johann Sebastian Bach à Dornheim. Les chemins de Luther sont signalés avec le symbole "Luther L". Le chemin de pèlerinage de Saint-Jacques de Compostelle d'Erfurt à Nuremberg ainsi que la piste cyclable Gera passent également par le Lutherbuche. Le chemin est signalé par la marque "coquille Saint-Jacques". Le parcours commun des chemins de Luther et de Saint-Jacques longe parallèlement la rivière Gera en direction d'Ichtershausen. Il est suivi jusqu'au croisement de la rue "Bierweg". Là, le côté de la rivière Gera est changé et un chemin naturel est suivi. En atteignant le quartier Rudisleben, la "Arnstädter Straße" est traversée et la rue "Zur Voigtsmühle" est empruntée légèrement sur la gauche. Dans cette zone, on bénéficie d'un paysage de pâturages impressionnant sur le côté droit. Après la Voigtsmühle, la section de la route se termine et un chemin naturel est suivi. Après environ 300 mètres, on atteint la "Greßler". C'est un ancien étang de gravier exploité par l'entreprise de construction Greßler de 1920 environ jusqu'en 1976. Entre-temps, l'étang est devenu un petit espace de détente et un secret bien gardé pour les amateurs d'algues. De l'ancienne carrière, le chemin continue en direction d'Ichtershausen. Dans cette section se trouvait une ancienne ligne de chemin de fer d'Arnstadt à Ichtershausen. Cette ligne a commencé son exploitation en 1885. Après la Seconde Guerre mondiale, le trafic ferroviaire a été réduit jusqu'à ce que le trafic des passagers soit entièrement arrêté en 1962. Les rails ont été retirés. On suit la rue "Am Rasen" en direction est, on traverse la rue principale et continue en direction de l'autoroute A71 ainsi que de la ligne ICE. Après Rudisleben, le parcours s'engage dans un paysage à dominante agricole. Des vues remarquables sur Erfurt, la colline Riechheimer, les contreforts de la forêt de Thuringe ainsi que sur la région des Trois-Châteaux sont présentes. Après avoir traversé la ligne ICE et l'autoroute, on marche environ 1 km vers le nord avant de tourner fortement à droite sur le Napoleonsweg. Le nom Napoleonsweg fait référence à la période de stationnement des troupes de Napoléon à Erfurt. Après un autre kilomètre, une bifurcation est atteinte. Dans cette zone se trouve un ensemble de sièges avec deux bancs et une table. À côté de cet ensemble, une pierre remarquable est placée. Cette pierre a été installée lors d'une réorganisation foncière et des travaux sur les sentiers. Elle n'a pas de signification historique. Selon la tradition, ce chemin était une ancienne route commerciale. Cachée dans le feuillage se trouve une pierre frontalière historique indiquant un ancien tracé de frontière entre le royaume de Prusse et la principauté de Schwarzburg-Sondershausen. Le Napoleonsweg est suivi jusqu'à la traversée de la L 1060. Là, on tourne légèrement à gauche sur un chemin herbeux naturel en direction d'Ettischleben. À l'entrée d'Ettischleben se trouve à gauche l'église protestante de village St. Cyriakus. Une chapelle romane se tenait déjà au 12e siècle à cet endroit. Après une rénovation en 1508, l'église a acquis sa forme actuelle. Depuis Ettischleben, la route suit le cours supérieur de la Wipfra à travers des zones de pâturages. Après environ 2 km, on atteint le quartier de Marlishausen. Au centre se trouve l'Anger, une place centrale du village. On y trouve un ensemble de sièges avec 4 bancs et une table en pierre. Le village est mentionné dans un document datant de 779, ce qui en fait l'un des plus anciens villages d'Allemagne de l'Est. L'église St. Petri und Paul est remarquable. La route continue le long de la Wipfra jusqu'à Hausen. Là, on retrouve à nouveau le chemin de Luther et le chemin de Saint-Jacques. Ce dernier est suivi en direction d'Arnstadt. Après Hausen, l'autoroute A 71 et la ligne ICE sont de nouveau traversées, et notre parcours mène à la réserve naturelle NSG Hain. Cette réserve naturelle couvre une superficie de 102 hectares et constitue une éminence en forme de bouclier dans le Keuper. Au nord de la réserve se trouve l'ancienne fortification de la Käfernburg. Elle a été construite vers l'an 1000 et est mentionnée pour la première fois dans un document en 1141. Avec l'extinction de la lignée comtale des Käfernburger, le château a perdu son importance et, pendant la guerre de Trente Ans, a commencé à se dégrader et a été démantelé. Il ne reste que les impressionnantes fosses entourant les remparts, profondes jusqu'à 7 mètres par endroits. The starting point is the Luther beech. This is the junction of the stages * Erfurt-Arnstadt * Arnstadt - Paulinzella * Arnstadt - Gotha of the Thuringian Luther Trail and is the beginning of a small hiking path to the wedding church of Johann Sebastian Bach in Dornheim. The Luther trails are marked with the trail marker "Luther L". The Luther beech is also crossed by the Pilgrimage route from Erfurt to Nuremberg as well as the Gera cycle path. The path is signposted with the waymark "pilgrim's shell". The joint route of the Luther and Pilgrimage paths runs parallel to the course of the Gera river towards Ichtershausen. This is followed until the crossing of the street "Bierweg". There the riverbank of the Gera changes and a natural path is followed. Upon reaching the district of Rudisleben, the "Arnstädter Straße" is crossed and then the road "Zur Voigtsmühle" is followed half-left. In this area, there is an impressive pasture landscape on the right side. After the Voigtsmühle, the road section ends and a natural path is followed. After about 300 meters the "Greßler" is reached. This is a former gravel pond, which was operated by the former Greßler construction company from about 1920 to 1976. In the meantime, the pond has become a small recreational area and a secret tip for algae enthusiasts. From the former gravel pit, the path continues towards Ichtershausen. In the section there was a former railway line from Arnstadt to Ichtershausen. This line started operation in 1885. After the Second World War, train traffic was reduced until passenger traffic was completely discontinued in 1962. The tracks were dismantled. The former track area is barely visible in the landscape. Between the Greßler and the town area there is a pronounced floodplain forest landscape. At the immediate boundary between Arnstadt and Ichtershausen, boundary stones can be found. They reflect the small-state system in Thuringia and mark the border between the Duchy of Gotha and the Principality of Schwarzburg-Sondershausen. Immediately at the town boundary of Ichtershausen, the path runs almost in the opposite direction to the Gera. From there to the entrance to Rudisleben, the Luther and Pilgrimage paths as well as the Gera cycle path are followed. Upon reaching Rudisleben, the signed paths are left. The street "Am Rasen" is followed eastwards, the main road is crossed, and the path continues towards the A71 motorway and the ICE line. After Rudisleben, the route enters an agriculturally shaped landscape. Worthwhile panoramic views to Erfurt, the Riechheimer Berg, the foothills of the Thuringian Forest, and the Drei-Gleichen area are available. After crossing the ICE line and the motorway, about 1 km is walked northwards before turning sharply right onto Napoleonsweg. The name Napoleonsweg refers to the time when Napoleon's troops were stationed in Erfurt. After another kilometer, a fork in the path is reached. In this area, there is a seating area with two benches and a table. Next to the seating area is a prominent stone. This stone found its place during a land consolidation process and work on the paths. It has no historical background. According to tradition, the path here was an old trade route. Hidden somewhat in the underbrush is a historical boundary stone. This points to a former border between the Kingdom of Prussia and the Principality of Schwarzburg-Sondershausen. The Napoleonsweg is followed until crossing the L 1060. There the path turns half-left onto a natural meadow path heading towards Ettischleben. At the entrance to Ettischleben on the left is the evangelical village church St. Cyriakus. Already in the 12th century, a Romanesque village chapel stood there. It was built around the turn of the millennium and was first mentioned in 1141. Only the mighty and partly up to 7 meters deep moats can still be recognized. From the Käfernburg, the path leads in a large arc back to the starting point of the route.

Der Weg ich mit der Wegemarke "Jakobsmuschel" ausgeschildert. Der gemeinsamen Wegeverlauf des Luther- und Jakobswegs verläuft parallel zum Flusslauf der Gera in Richtung Ichtershausen. Diesem wird bis zur Querung der Straße "Bierweg" gefolgt. Dort wird die Flußseite der Gera gewechselt und einem naturbelassenen Weg gefolgt. Mit Erreichen des Ortsteils Rudisleben wird die "Arnstädter Straße" gequert und anschließend halblinks der Straße "Zur Voigtsmühle" gelaufen. In diesem Bereich hat man rechtsseitig eine beeindruckende Weidelandschaft. Nach der Voigtsmühle endet der Straßenabschnitt und es wird einem naturbelassenen Weg gefolgt. Nach ca. 300 Metern wird die "Greßler" erreicht. Dies ist ein ehemaliger Kiesteich, der vom ehemaligen Baubetrieb Greßler von ca. 1920 bis 1976 betrieben wurde. In der Zwischenzeit ist der Teich ein kleines Erholungsgebiet und für Algelfreunde ein Geheimtipp. Von der ehemaligen Kiesgrube geht es weiter in Richtung Ichtershausen. Im dortigen Wegeabschnitt verlief eine frühere Bahnstrecke von Arnstadt nach Ichtershausen. Diese Strecke nahm 1885 bereits seinen Betrieb auf. Nach dem zweiten Weltkrieg wurde der Zugeverkehr zurückgefahren bis dann im Jahr 1962 der Personenverkehr vollständig eingestellt wurde. Die Gleise wurden abgebaut. Der ehemalige Gleisbereich ist in der Landschaft kaum erkennbar. Zwischen der Greßler und der Ortslage befindet sich eine ausgeprägte Auenwaldlandschaft. An der unmittelbarten Gemarkungsgrenze zwischen Arnstadt und Ichtershausen sind Grenzsteine zu finden. Sie belegen die Kleinstaaterei in Thüringen und markiert dort die Grenze zwischen dem Herzogtum Gotha sowie dem Fürstentum Scharzburg-Sondershausen. Unmittelbar an der Ortsgrenze von Ichtershausen wird fast in entgegengestzter Richtung zur Gera gelaufen. Von dort bis zum Ortseingang von Rudisleben wird dem Luther- und Jakosweg sowie dem Gera-Radweg gelaufen. Mit Erreichen der Ortslage Rudisleben werden die ausgeschilderten Wege verlassen. Es wird in östliche Richtung der Straße "Am Rasen" gefolgt, die Hauptstraße überquert und weiter in Richtung der Autobahn A71 sowie der ICE-Strecke gewandert. Mit Überqueren der ICE-Strecke sowie der Autobahn wird ca. 1 km in nördliche Richtung gelaufen, ehe stark nach rechts auf den Napoleonsweg abgebogen wird. Dierser weist auf einen ehemaligen Grenzverlauf zwischen dem Königreich Preußen und dem Fürstentum Schwarzburg-Sondershausen hin. Der Napoleonsweg wird bis Überquerung der L 1060 gefolgt. Dort wird halblinks auf einen naturbelassenen Wiesenweg in Richtung Ettischleben abgebogen. Am Ortseingang von Ettischleben befindes sich linker Hand die evangelische Dorfkirche St. Cyriakus. Bereits im 12. Jahrhundert stand dort eine romanische Dorfkapelle. Die Kirche erhielt nach Umbau im Jahr 1508 ihre heutige Gestalt. Von Ettischleben führt die Route dem Wipfragrund flußaufwärts durch Weidelandschaften. Nach ca. 2 km wird der Ortsteil Marlishausen erreicht. Im Zentrum befindet sich der Anger, ein zentraler Dorfplatz. Auf diesem befindet sich eine Sitgruppe mit 4 Bänken sowie einem Steintisch. Der Ort selbst wurde bereits 779 urkundlich erwähnt und zählt somit zu den ältesten Orten von Ostdeutschland. Bemerkenswert ist die Dorfkirche St. Petri und Paul. Dem Wipfragrund wird weiter bis Hausen gefolgt. Dort wird wieder auf dem Luther- und Jakobsweg getroffen. Dieser wird in Richtung Arnstadt gefolt. Nach Hausen wird abermals die Autobahn A 71 sowie die ICE-Strecke überquert und unsere Route führt zum NSG Hain. Dieses Naturschutzgebiet hat eine Gräße von 102 Hektar und ist eine schildförmige Erhebung im Keuper. An der Norseite des NSG befindet sich die ehemalige Burganlage der Käfernburg. Diese wure etwa zur Jahrtausendwende erbaut und im Jahre 1141 erstmals urkundlich erwähnt. Mit dem Aussterben des Grafengeschlecht der Käfenrburger verlor die Burg Ihre Bedeutung und während des Dreißigjährigen Krieges begann der Verfall sowie der Abbau der Burg. Von dieser sind nur noch die mächtigen und z.T. bis zu 7 Meter tiefen Wallgräben erkennbar. Von der Käfernburg führt der Weg in einem großen Bogen zum Ausgangspunkt der Route.

The path is signposted with the waymark "pilgrim's shell".</p> <p>The joint route of the Luther and Pilgrimage paths runs parallel to the course of the Gera river towards Ichtershausen. This is followed until the crossing of the street "Bierweg". There the riverbank of the Gera changes and a natural path is followed.</p> <p>Upon reaching the district of Rudisleben, the "Arnstädter Straße" is crossed and then the road "Zur Voigtsmühle" is followed half-left. In this area, there is an impressive pasture landscape on the right side.</p> <p>After the Voigtsmühle, the road section ends and a natural path is followed. After about 300 meters the "Greßler" is reached. This is a former gravel pond, which was operated by the former Greßler construction company from about 1920 to 1976. This line started operation in 1885. After the Second World War, train traffic was reduced until passenger traffic was completely discontinued in 1962. The tracks were dismantled. The former track area is barely visible in the landscape.</p> <p>Between the Greßler and the town area there is a pronounced floodplain forest landscape. At the immediate boundary between Arnstadt and Ichtershausen, boundary stones can be found. They reflect the small-state system in Thuringia and mark the border between the <a href="https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Herzogtum_Sachsen-Coburg_und_Gotha">Duchy of Gotha</a> and the <a href="https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Schwarzburg-Sondershausen">Principality of Schwarzburg-Sondershausen</a>.</p> <p>Immediately at the town boundary of Ichtershausen, the path runs almost in the opposite direction to the Gera. From there to the entrance to Rudisleben, the Luther and Pilgrimage paths as well as the <a href="https://www.gera-radweg.de/">Gera cycle path</a> are followed.</p> <p>Upon reaching Rudisleben, the signed paths are left. The street "Am Rasen" is followed eastwards, the main road is crossed, and the path continues towards the A71 motorway and the ICE line. After Rudisleben, the route enters an agriculturally shaped landscape. Worthwhile panoramic views to Erfurt, the Riechheimer Berg, the foothills of the Thuringian Forest, and the Drei-Gleichen area are available.</p> <p>After crossing the ICE line and the motorway, about 1 km is walked northwards before turning sharply right onto Napoleonsweg. The name Napoleonsweg refers to the time when Napoleon's troops were stationed in Erfurt. After another kilometer, a fork in the path is reached. In this area, there is a seating area with two benches and a table. Next to the seating area is a prominent stone. This stone found its place during a land consolidation process and work on the paths. It has no historical background. According to tradition, the path here was an old trade route. Hidden somewhat in the underbrush is a historical boundary stone. This points to a former border between the Kingdom of Prussia and the Principality of Schwarzburg-Sondershausen.</p> <p>The Napoleonsweg is followed until crossing the L 1060. This nature reserve has an area of 102 hectares and is a shield-shaped elevation in the Keuper.</p> <p>On the north side of the reserve is the former castle complex of the <a href="https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/K%C3%A4fernburg_(Burg)">Käfernburg</a>. It was built around the turn of the millennium and was first mentioned in 1141. With the extinction of the count family of Käfernburg, the castle lost its importance and during the Thirty Years' War, began to decay and dismantle. Only the mighty and partly up to 7 meters deep moats can still be recognized.</p> <p>From the Käfernburg, the path leads in a large arc back to the starting point of the route.</p>

Dans cette zone, on bénéficie d'un paysage de pâturages impressionnant sur le côté droit.</p> <p>Après la Voigtsmühle, la section de la route se termine et un chemin naturel est suivi. Après environ 300 mètres, on atteint la "Greßler". C'est un ancien étang de gravier exploité par l'entreprise de construction Greßler de 1920 environ jusqu'en 1976. Entre-temps, l'étang est devenu un petit espace de détente et un secret bien gardé pour les amateurs d'algues.</p> <p>De l'ancienne carrière, le chemin continue en direction d'Ichtershausen. Dans cette section se trouvait une ancienne <a href="https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bahnstrecke_Arnstadt%E2%80%93Ichtershausen">ligne de chemin de fer d'Arnstadt à Ichtershausen</a>. Des vues remarquables sur Erfurt, la colline Riechheimer, les contreforts de la forêt de Thuringe ainsi que sur la région des Trois-Châteaux sont présentes.</p> <p>Après avoir traversé la ligne ICE et l'autoroute, on marche environ 1 km vers le nord avant de tourner fortement à droite sur le Napoleonsweg. Le nom Napoleonsweg fait référence à la période de stationnement des troupes de Napoléon à Erfurt. Après un autre kilomètre, une bifurcation est atteinte. Dans cette zone se trouve un ensemble de sièges avec deux bancs et une table. À côté de cet ensemble, une pierre remarquable est placée. Cette pierre a été installée lors d'une réorganisation foncière et des travaux sur les sentiers. Elle n'a pas de signification historique. Selon la tradition, ce chemin était une ancienne route commerciale. Cachée dans le feuillage se trouve une pierre frontalière historique indiquant un ancien tracé de frontière entre le royaume de Prusse et la principauté de Schwarzburg-Sondershausen.</p> <p>Le Napoleonsweg est suivi jusqu'à la traversée de la L 1060. Là, on tourne légèrement à gauche sur un chemin herbeux naturel en direction d'Ettischleben.</p> <p>À l'entrée d'<a href="https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ettischleben">Ettischleben</a> se trouve à gauche l'église protestante de village <a href="https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/St._Cyriakus_(Ettischleben)">St. Cyriakus</a>. Une chapelle romane se tenait déjà au 12e siècle à cet endroit. Après une rénovation en 1508, l'église a acquis sa forme actuelle.</p> <p>Depuis Ettischleben, la route suit le cours supérieur de la Wipfra à travers des zones de pâturages.</p> <p>Après environ 2 km, on atteint le quartier de <a href="https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Marlishausen">Marlishausen</a>. Au centre se trouve l'Anger, une place centrale du village. On y trouve un ensemble de sièges avec 4 bancs et une table en pierre. Le village est mentionné dans un document datant de 779, ce qui en fait l'un des plus anciens villages d'Allemagne de l'Est. L'église <a href="https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/St._Petri_und_Pauli_(Marlishausen)">St. Petri und Paul</a> est remarquable.</p> <p>La route continue le long de la Wipfra jusqu'à Hausen. Là, on retrouve à nouveau le chemin de Luther et le chemin de Saint-Jacques. Ce dernier est suivi en direction d'Arnstadt.</p> <p>Après Hausen, l'autoroute A 71 et la ligne ICE sont de nouveau traversées, et notre parcours mène à la réserve naturelle NSG Hain. Cette réserve naturelle couvre une superficie de 102 hectares et constitue une éminence en forme de bouclier dans le Keuper.</p> <p>Au nord de la réserve se trouve l'ancienne fortification de la <a href="https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/K%C3%A4fernburg_(Burg)">Käfernburg</a>. Elle a été construite vers l'an 1000 et est mentionnée pour la première fois dans un document en 1141. Avec l'extinction de la lignée comtale des Käfernburger, le château a perdu son importance et, pendant la guerre de Trente Ans, a commencé à se dégrader et a été démantelé. Il ne reste que les impressionnantes fosses entourant les remparts, profondes jusqu'à 7 mètres par endroits.</p> <p>Depuis la Käfernburg, le chemin fait une grande boucle pour revenir au point de départ de l'itinéraire.</p>
