Die Tour hat einiges zu bieten. Sie ist eine Mischung aus Natur, Sehenswürdigkeiten, einem gemütlichen Stadtspaziergang und kulinarischen Highlights. Durch die Wälder nördlich von Stolberg, die leider auch nach und nach der Trockenheit zum Opfer fallen, wieder auch hier ein Waldumbau statt, der spannend zu beobachten ist. Gerade der Blick vom höchsten Punkt der Tour, vom 38m hohen, auf dem Großen Auerberg thronenden Josephskreuz, gibt einen guten Überblick über die sich verändernde Landschaft. Von hier oben hat man auch einen tollen Blick in Richtung Brocken und Kyffhäusergebirge. Auf der Straße der Lieder kann man noch das ein oder andere Lied singen und die Stadt Stolberg lädt am Ende zum Verweilen ein.

Le parcours offre beaucoup. C'est un mélange de nature, de sites touristiques, d'une balade en ville tranquille et de plaisirs culinaires. Dans les forêts au nord de Stolberg, qui malheureusement succombent peu à peu à la sécheresse, une reconversion forestière passionnante à observer est en cours. Le regard depuis le point le plus haut du parcours, le Josephskreuz de 38 m perché sur le Großer Auerberg, donne un bon aperçu du paysage changeant. De là-haut, on a aussi une vue magnifique en direction du Brocken et du massif du Kyffhäuser. Sur la Straße der Lieder, on peut encore chanter quelques chansons et la ville de Stolberg invite à la détente à la fin.

The route has a lot to offer. It is a mix of nature, sights, a pleasant city walk, and culinary highlights. Through the forests north of Stolberg, which unfortunately are gradually succumbing to dryness, there is also forest restructuring going on here that is exciting to observe. Especially the view from the highest point of the route, from the 38m high Josephskreuz perched on the Großer Auerberg, gives a good overview of the changing landscape. From up here, you also have a great view towards the Brocken and the Kyffhäuser mountains.
