Das hättest Du nicht erwartet, als Du über den sanften Hügel vom Zeulenrodaer Meer herkamst: Tief haben sich Auma und Weida in die Landschaft geschnitten, die Weida wird von einermächtigen Mauer gestaut – und Du überblickst das alles oben vom Grobisch. Heute ist ein guter Tag, Du fühlst Dich fit für stetes Auf und Ab im Vogtland. Es geht schon gut los: Nach kurzem Anstieg kannst Du den Verlauf Deiner heutigen Runde vom Lutherblick, dem höchstenPunkt der Route, aus erahnen. Im Aumagrund an der Tränksmühle und später am Westufer der Weidatalsperre lädst Du Deine Akkus: Stille, Wald, Wasser – Baden erwünscht! Auch das hattest Du nicht erwartet. Ganz klein fühlst Du Dich, wenn Du alsbald unten am Fuße des ikonischen Kaskadenbauwerks am Überlauf der Talsperre anlangst. Umso überraschter, größer und stärker bist Du kurz darauf, nach Erklimmen der Rampe hinauf zum Grobisch – Endlich ganz oben, die kleine Wasserwelt zu Deinen Füßen! Ein wenig Zeit für Besinnung geben wir dann auf dem finalen Stück durch die Weidaaue unterhalb der Sperrmauer: Ein Wiesenweg führt Dich hinab zum Flüsschen, mit ein wenig Glück hörst Du dieFrösche oder entdeckst einen Weißstorch… faszinierend, was das Wasser hier so alles bewirkt!

You wouldn't have expected this when you came over the gentle hill from the Zeulenrodaer Sea: Auma and Weida have deeply cut into the landscape, the Weida is dammed by a mighty wall – and you overlook it all from above from the Grobisch. Today is a good day, you feel fit for constant ups and downs in the Vogtland. It starts off well: after a short ascent you can guess the course of your today's round from the Lutherblick, the highest point of the route. In the Auma valley at the Tränksmühle and later on the west shore of the Weida reservoir, you recharge your batteries: silence, forest, water – swimming desired! You hadn't expected that either. You feel very small when you soon arrive at the bottom of the iconic cascade structure at the spillway of the reservoir. All the more surprised, bigger and stronger you are shortly afterwards, after climbing the ramp up to the Grobisch – finally at the top, the small water world at your feet! We then give a little time for reflection on the final section through the Weida meadow below the dam wall: a meadow path leads you down to the little river, with a bit of luck you hear the frogs or discover a white stork… fascinating what water causes here!

Tu ne l'aurais pas attendu en venant doucement des collines depuis le lac de Zeulenroda : Auma et Weida ont creusé profondément le paysage, la Weida est retenue par un mur puissant – et tu observes tout cela depuis le sommet du Grobisch. Aujourd'hui est un bon jour, tu te sens en forme pour les montées et descentes constantes dans le Vogtland. Ça commence bien : après une courte montée, tu peux apercevoir le parcours de ta boucle du jour depuis le Lutherblick, le point le plus élevé de l'itinéraire. Dans la vallée d'Auma à la Tränksmühle et plus tard sur la rive ouest du barrage de la Weida, tu recharges tes batteries : silence, forêt, eau – baignade souhaitée ! Cela aussi tu ne l'avais pas prévu. Tu te sens tout petit quand tu arrives bientôt en bas, au pied de la construction iconique en cascade au déversoir du barrage. Plus surpris encore, plus grand et plus fort tu es peu après, après avoir gravi la rampe jusqu'au Grobisch – enfin tout en haut, le petit monde aquatique à tes pieds ! Un peu de temps pour la réflexion t'est ensuite offert sur le dernier tronçon à travers les prairies de Weida sous la digue : un chemin herbeux te conduit vers la rivière, avec un peu de chance tu entends les grenouilles ou aperçois une cigogne blanche… fascinant tout ce que l'eau provoque ici !
