Der Weg zur Brendquelle führt entlang des Jakobsweges durch den Buchenwald. Vorbei an "Jakobsbrönn", "Gutzemes-Hag-Brönn" und "Hexenruh" zieht er sich am Fuße des Teufelsbergs entlang Richtung Schwedenschanze. Durch den blätterlosen Wald hat man immer wieder schöne Ausblicke zum Arnsberg und Schachen. Nach ca. 3 km wird die eher unscheinbare Brendquelle erreicht. Wer zurück nicht denselben Weg nehmen möchte, überquert nach steilem Abstieg die Brend, wendet sich dann nach links und erreicht die Schwedenschanze. Hier führt der Fahrradweg parallel zur B279 zurück nach Oberweißenbrunn.

The path to the Brend spring follows the Jakobsweg through the beech forest. Passing "Jakobsbrönn", "Gutzemes-Hag-Brönn", and "Hexenruh", it runs along the foot of the Teufelsberg towards Schwedenschanze. Through the leafless forest, you repeatedly have beautiful views of Arnsberg and Schachen. After about 3 km, the rather inconspicuous Brend spring is reached. Those who do not want to take the same path back cross the Brend after a steep descent, then turn left and reach Schwedenschanze. Here, the bike path leads parallel to the B279 back to Oberweißenbrunn.

Le chemin vers la source de la Brend longe le sentier de Saint-Jacques à travers la hêtraie. Passant par "Jakobsbrönn", "Gutzemes-Hag-Brönn" et "Hexenruh", il suit au pied du Teufelsberg en direction de Schwedenschanze. À travers la forêt dépourvue de feuilles, on a régulièrement de belles vues sur l'Arnsberg et le Schachen. Après environ 3 km, la source de la Brend, plutôt discrète, est atteinte. Ceux qui ne veulent pas reprendre le même chemin au retour traversent la Brend après une descente raide, tournent ensuite à gauche et atteignent la Schwedenschanze. Ici, la piste cyclable longe parallèlement la B279 pour revenir à Oberweißenbrunn.
