About: Weg der Hoffnung - Rhön, Parcours de l'espoir - Rhön, Path of Hope - Rhön

Weg der Hoffnung – Kunstwerk.Mahnmal.Anstoß Über einen Zeitraum von eineinhalb Jahren entstanden 2009 und 2010 vierzehn monumentale Skulpturen auf dem Todesstreifen der ehemaligen Grenze, die mehr als vierzig Jahre lang die Trennlinie von Freiheit und Unfreiheit markierte. Sie greifen den Gedanken des christlichen Kreuzwegs auf und erzählen damit (eine) Geschichte, die ganz unterschiedliche Aspekte umfasst. Willkür und Unterdrückung, aber auch Mut, Hoffnung und Glauben sind Konstanten dieser Geschichte. Die Point Alpha Stiftung errichtete den „Weg der Hoffnung“ zur Erinnerung an den Widerstand gegen die kommunistischen Diktaturen Mittel- und Osteuropas, unter denen die Menschen Jahrzehnte lang gelitten haben. Die Gedenkstätte befindet sich an den Premiumwanderwegen Extratour "Point-Alpha-Weg" und "Rasdorfer".

Parcours de l'espoir – Œuvre d'art.Mémorial.Point de départ Sur une période d'un an et demi, entre 2009 et 2010, quatorze sculptures monumentales ont été réalisées sur la zone frontière de la mort de l'ancienne frontière, qui a marqué pendant plus de quarante ans la ligne de séparation entre liberté et non-liberté. Elles reprennent la pensée du chemin de croix chrétien et racontent ainsi une histoire qui comprend des aspects très différents. L'arbitraire et la répression, mais aussi le courage, l'espoir et la foi sont des constantes de cette histoire. La fondation Point Alpha a créé le « parcours de l'espoir » en mémoire de la résistance contre les dictatures communistes d'Europe centrale et orientale, qui ont fait souffrir les populations pendant des décennies. Le mémorial se trouve sur les parcours de randonnée premium Extratour « Point-Alpha-Weg » et « Rasdorfer ».

Path of Hope – Artwork.Memorial.Call to Action Over a period of one and a half years in 2009 and 2010, fourteen monumental sculptures were created on the death strip of the former border, which for more than forty years marked the dividing line of freedom and oppression. They take up the idea of the Christian Way of the Cross and thus tell a story that encompasses very different aspects. Arbitrary rule and oppression, but also courage, hope, and faith are constants in this story. The Point Alpha Foundation established the "Path of Hope" in memory of the resistance against the communist dictatorships of Central and Eastern Europe, under which people suffered for decades. The memorial is located on the premium hiking trails Extratour "Point Alpha Path" and "Rasdorfer".
