Hallo, ich bin Marco Pompe aus der Landgemeinde Unstrut-Hainich. Als Inklusionsbotschafter habe ich mir zum Ziel gesetzt, die Situation für Menschen mit Handicap zu verbessern. Da ich selbst ein angeborenes Handicap habe, nehme ich über die Jahre hinweg manche Dinge auch ganz anders wahr. Ich liebe die Herausforderung und stehe auf abwechslungsreiche Touren und Sportarten. Unter anderem verwende ich für meine Touren ein Liegebike der Firma OTTO BOCK und ein Vorspannbike von Speedy. Im Jahr 2016 konnte ich, mit Guido Kunze und Dr. Sven Pompe, den Thüringer Tourismuspreis gewinnen, was den Test und die Befahrung von Routen als Sterntour rund um Mühlhausen/Thür. beinhaltet hat. Mit dem großen Ziel unsere Region im Rahmen der Barrierefreiheit in der Öffentlichkeit zu präsentieren. Gern möchte ich euch eine meiner Lieblingstouren vorstellen – den Unstrut Radweg von Mülhausen nach Bad Langensalza. Die Tour entlang der Unstrut startet am Bahnhof der Mittelalterlichen Reichsstadt Mühlhausen. Zuvor empfiehlt sich ein kurzer Besuch der Altstadt mit der nahezu vollständig erhaltenen Stadtmauer und den 11 mittelalterlichen Kirchen.  Vom Bahnhof aus wird nach etwa zweieinhalb Kilometern auf ruhigen Straßen der Radweg parallel zur Bollstedter Landstraße erreicht. Der Unstrut-radweg führt weiter bis nach Bollstedt, wo kurzzeitig verkehrsberuhigte Straßen genutzt werden. Weite Felder erstrecken sich anschließend links vom Weg, während rechts die Unstrut fließt. Die folgende Kreuzung "Am Silberrasenweg" sollte mit Bedacht überquert werden. Vorbei an Feldern und Wiesen wird nach vier Kilometern Altengottern erreicht. Hier lohnt sich ein Besuch des Schlossparks mit seinen beeindruckenden Skulpturen. Die Wege im Park sind gut befestigt und auch für Handbiker geeignet. Die historische Kirche St. Trinitatis lädt zu einer Pause ein. Diese hat von Juni bis September, samstags für Radfahrende und Gäste von 12 bis 18 Uhr geöffnet. Ebenfalls gibt es dort die Gelegenheit für Menschen mit Behinderung, eine Toilette aufzusuchen. Am Ortsausgang in Höhe des Friedhofs befindet sich zudem eine Seniorenbank mit einem Einschub für Rollstühle und Rollatoren. Hinter dem Friedhof wird die Tour auf dem Radweg in Richtung Thamsbrück wieder aufgenommen. Ein besonders schöner Abschnitt der Tour befindet sich kurz vor Thamsbrück am alten Unstrut-Wehr, wo die Strecke direkt am Fluss entlang führt. Nach der Ortschaft wird die Unstrut ein letztes Mal überquert, bevor die Tour auf der ehemaligen Trasse der früheren Kleinbahn in der Kur- und Rosenstadt Bad Langensalza endet. Zum Abschluss führt die Radtour entlang des Schlösschenparks, vorbei am Rosengarten, durch den Kurpark sowie die Altstadt, sodass Bad Langensalza direkt erlebt werden kann. Am Bahnhof ist zudem ein öffentliches Behinderten-WC vorhanden.  Ihr übernachtet nicht in Mühlhausen? Dann empfehle ich, das Auto in Bad Langensalza stehen zu lassen und mit der Bahn nach Mühlhausen zu fahren. Nach einer barrierefreien Stadtführung durch Mühlhausen startet ihr entspannt die Radtour in Richtung Bad Langensalza.

Comme j'ai moi-même un handicap congénital, je perçois certaines choses différemment au fil des ans. J'adore les défis et je pratique des parcours variés et des sports divers. Entre autres, j'utilise pour mes parcours un vélo couché de la société OTTO BOCK et un vélo traîneau de Speedy. En 2016, avec Guido Kunze et le Dr Sven Pompe, j'ai remporté le prix du tourisme de Thuringe, qui comprenait le test et le parcours d'itinéraires en étoile autour de Mühlhausen/Thür. Avec l'objectif majeur de présenter notre région dans le cadre de l'accessibilité au public. Je souhaite volontiers vous présenter l'un de mes parcours préférés – la piste cyclable Unstrut de Mühlhausen à Bad Langensalza. Le parcours le long de l'Unstrut commence à la gare de la ville impériale médiévale de Mühlhausen. Une courte visite de la vieille ville s'impose auparavant, avec sa muraille presque entièrement conservée et ses 11 églises médiévales. Depuis la gare, après environ deux kilomètres et demi sur des rues calmes, on atteint la piste cyclable parallèle à la Bollstedter Landstraße. La piste cyclable Unstrut continue jusqu'à Bollstedt, où des rues temporairement apaisées par la circulation sont utilisées. De vastes champs s'étendent ensuite sur le côté gauche du parcours, tandis que l'Unstrut coule à droite. Le carrefour « Am Silberrasenweg » doit être traversé avec prudence. Après avoir passé des champs et des prairies, Altengottern est atteint après quatre kilomètres. Une visite du parc du château avec ses sculptures impressionnantes vaut le détour. Les chemins du parc sont bien aménagés et adaptés aux handbikes. L'église historique St. Trinitatis invite à une pause. Elle est ouverte de juin à septembre, les samedis, pour les cyclistes et les visiteurs de 12h à 18h. Il y a également la possibilité pour les personnes handicapées d'utiliser des toilettes. À la sortie du village, près du cimetière, une bannette pour les seniors avec un tiroir pour fauteuils roulants et déambulateurs est disponible. Après le cimetière, le parcours reprend sur la piste cyclable en direction de Thamsbrück. Un tronçon particulièrement beau se trouve juste avant Thamsbrück, au vieux barrage de l'Unstrut, où la route longe directement la rivière. Après la localité, l'Unstrut est traversée une dernière fois avant que le parcours ne se termine sur l'ancien tracé d'une voie ferrée locale dans la ville thermale et de la rose Bad Langensalza. Enfin, la balade vélo longe le parc du petit château, passe par le jardin de roses, traverse le parc thermal ainsi que la vieille ville, permettant ainsi de découvrir Bad Langensalza directement. À la gare, des toilettes accessibles aux personnes handicapées sont également disponibles. Vous ne passez pas la nuit à Mühlhausen ? Je recommande alors de laisser la voiture à Bad Langensalza et de prendre le train jusqu'à Mühlhausen. Après une visite de la ville sans barrières à Mühlhausen, vous commencez détendu votre parcours en direction de Bad Langensalza.

Hello, I am Marco Pompe from the rural municipality Unstrut-Hainich. As an inclusion ambassador, I have set myself the goal of improving the situation for people with disabilities. Since I have a congenital disability myself, I perceive some things quite differently over the years. I love challenges and enjoy varied routes and sports. Among other things, I use a recumbent bike from OTTO BOCK and a towing bike from Speedy for my tours. In 2016, together with Guido Kunze and Dr. Sven Pompe, I was able to win the Thuringian Tourism Award, which included testing and riding routes as a star route around Mühlhausen/Thür., with the great goal of presenting our region to the public in terms of accessibility. I would like to introduce you to one of my favorite routes – the Unstrut Cycle Path from Mühlhausen to Bad Langensalza. The route along the Unstrut starts at the station of the medieval imperial city Mühlhausen. Beforehand, a short visit to the old town with the almost completely preserved city wall and the 11 medieval churches is recommended. From the station, after about two and a half kilometers on quiet streets, the cycle path parallel to the Bollstedter Landstraße is reached. The Unstrut Cycle Path continues to Bollstedt, where briefly traffic-calmed streets are used. Wide fields then stretch to the left of the path, while the Unstrut flows to the right. The following intersection "Am Silberrasenweg" should be crossed with caution. Passing fields and meadows, after four kilometers Altengottern is reached. Here a visit to the castle park with its impressive sculptures is worthwhile. The paths in the park are well paved and also suitable for handbikes. The historic church St. Trinitatis invites you to take a break. It is open from June to September on Saturdays for cyclists and visitors from 12 to 6 pm. There is also an opportunity for people with disabilities to use a toilet there. At the town exit near the cemetery, there is also a senior bench with an insert for wheelchairs and walkers. Behind the cemetery, the route is resumed on the cycle path towards Thamsbrück. A particularly beautiful section of the route is shortly before Thamsbrück at the old Unstrut weir, where the route runs directly along the river. After the village, the Unstrut is crossed one last time before the route ends on the former track of the old light railway in the spa and rose city Bad Langensalza. At the end, the cycling tour leads along the castle park, past the rose garden, through the spa park as well as the old town, so that Bad Langensalza can be experienced directly. There is also a public accessible toilet at the station. If you do not stay overnight in Mühlhausen, I recommend leaving the car in Bad Langensalza and taking the train to Mühlhausen. After a barrier-free city tour through Mühlhausen, you start the cycling tour relaxed in the direction of Bad Langensalza.
