It does the administrative work for the member municipalities Hermsdorf, Mörsdorf, Reichenbach, Schleifreisen and St. Gangloff. The communities are still independent and are led by honorary mayors, except for the town of Hermsdorf, which is led by a full-time mayor. Information material for guests is available in the cultural and tourist information office. In addition, numerous events are organised, including exhibitions in the Small Gallery or readings in the library.
