"Good luck!" the millers used to greet each other. They needed luck especially for their mill, which brought them money and prosperity, but also one or two reasons for worry. For the millstone did not always turn. Neither too much nor too little water was allowed to flow over the mill wheel. Even when it was icy in winter, the mill was forced to stand still, and then there was also the time factor. This constantly gnawed away at the old mill stock and made it a constant object of modernization over the years and centuries. The Clauder family can also tell you a thing or two about this, as they are now the third generation to run the mill, which is over a thousand years old. In 1935, Dr. Rudolf Clauder, the grandfather of the current owner, acquired the business. Since that time, the mill has completely changed its face. In accordance with the requirements of the times, the mill has been constantly updated to the latest state of the art. However, without blindly replacing the old with the new. Thus, next to the newest machines, there are also some from the beginning of the last century. The selection of products also shows tradition and modernity. The Clauder Mill stocks flour types of all kinds, baking meal and semolina made from rye, wheat and spelt, as well as various animal feeds. In addition, it offers selected purchased mill products such as pasta, muesli, flakes, tea, mustard, mustard oil and and and...
