About: Lindig

Lindig est une petite communauté située dans la moyenne vallée de la Saale, à environ 20 km d' Iéna. Située de façon idyllique sur un plateau, la vue mène au nord-ouest vers la Saale, Kahla et la "Reine de la vallée de la Saale", le Leuchtenburg. À l'est et au sud s'étend l'une des plus grandes zones forestières cohérentes du pays de la forêt de Thuringe. Non loin de Lindig se trouve une destination de randonnée populaire, le Leubengrund. Dans la vallée latérale de la Saale, avec ses moulins situés dans un cadre charmant, les amateurs de randonnée trouveront le calme et la détente. La zone forestière offre encore plus de points forts cachés : La région riche en gibier, avec une longue tradition de chasses princières, est révélée dans le complexe de chasse de Rieseneck, qui vaut la peine d'être vu, avec ses tranchées de course, ses passages souterrains et ses écrans de chasse. Au bord du complexe se trouve un bâtiment en forme de tour - la chaise du duc. Le palais de plaisance a été construit au début du 20e siècle comme une retraite privée pour le duc Ernst II de Saxe-Altenbourg et est un motif de photo populaire en raison de son architecture inhabituelle. Et le Hummelshain caché avec l' ancien et le nouveau pavillon de chasse est également marqué par l'histoire de cette tradition.

Lindig is a small community in the middle Saale valley and about 20 km away from Jena. Idyllically situated on a plateau, the view leads northwest towards the Saale, Kahla and the "Queen of the Saale Valley", the Leuchtenburg. In the east and in the south one of the biggest coherent forest areas of the Thuringian wood country extends. Not far from Lindig there is a popular hiking destination, the Leubengrund. In the side valley of the Saale with its charmingly situated mills, hiking enthusiasts will find peace and relaxation. The forest area offers even more hidden highlights: The game-rich area with a long tradition of princely hunts is revealed in the Rieseneck hunting complex, which is well worth seeing, with running trenches, underground passages and hunting screens. At the edge of the complex is a tower-like building - the duke's chair. The pleasure palace was built at the beginning of the 20th century as a private retreat for Duke Ernst II of Saxony-Altenburg and is a popular photo motif because of its unusual architecture. And the hidden Hummelshain with the Old and New Hunting Lodge is also marked by the history of this tradition.

Lindig ist eine kleine Gemeinde im mittleren Saaletal und ca. 20 km von Jena entfernt. Idyllisch auf einem Plateau gelegen, führt der Blick nach Nordwesten in Richtung Saale, Kahla und der "Königin des Saaletals", der Leuchtenburg. Im Osten und Süden erstreckt sich eines der größten zusammenhängenden Waldgebiete des Thüringer Holzlandes. Unweit von Lindig befindet sich ein beliebtes Wanderziel, der Leubengrund. Im Seitental der Saale mit seinen reizvoll gelegenen Mühlen finden Wanderfreunde Ruhe und Entspannung. Das Waldgebiet bietet noch weitere versteckte Highlights: Das wildreiche Gebiet mit einer langen Tradition fürstlicher Jagden offenbart sich in der sehenswerten Jagdanlage Rieseneck mit Laufgräben, unterirdischen Gängen und Jagdschirmen. Am Rande der Anlage befindet sich ein turmartiges Gebäude - der Herzogsstuhl. Das Lustschloss wurde Anfang des 20. Jahrhunderts als privater Rückzugsort für Herzog Ernst II. von Sachsen-Altenburg erbaut und ist wegen seiner ungewöhnlichen Architektur ein beliebtes Fotomotiv. Und auch das versteckte Hummelshain mit dem Alten und Neuen Jagdschloss ist von der Geschichte dieser Tradition geprägt.
