In his satirical cabaret evening, he dedicates himself to all aspects of the modernization of the church, humorously addressing issues such as declining membership, digitalization, and more. Water serves as the common thread running through this program, which Maybach has developed especially for the WasserKunst year: tears at weddings, baptism anecdotes, burials at sea—water permeates the entire performance. The text was taken from the application of the Ebersdorf parish for the thematic year WasserKunst. This event is part of the thematic year WasserKunst 2026.
Kirchenkabarett mit Ingmar Maybach Ingmar Maybach ist Pfarrer und Kabarettist, der in ganz Deutschland und in der Schweiz schon mehr als 800 Mal auftrat. Er widmet seinen Kabarettabend satirisch allem rund um die Modernisierung der Kirche und nimmt auf witzige Art zu Mitgliederschwund, Digitalisierung etc. zum Thema. Als roten Faden wird sich das Thema Wasser durch dieses Programm ziehen, das Maybach extra für das WasserKunst-Jahr auflegt: Tränen zur Hochzeit, Taufanekdoten, Seebestattung... Wasser durchzieht das gesamte Programm. Der Text wurde aus dem Antrag der Kirchgemeinde Ebersdorf für das Themenjahr WasserKunst übernommen. Diese Veranstaltung ist Teil des Themenjahres WasserKunst 2026.
