Das 1323 errichtete Bauwerk diente über Jahrhunderte als Senf- und Getreidemühle. Sie ist die letzte an der Breitsülze gelegene Mühle und hatte ein Gefälle von über vier Metern. Somit hatte sie das höchste Gefälle aller innerstädtischen Mühlen. Die ehemalige Mühle in der Stadt am Frauentor erhielt ihren Namen vom nahe liegenden Hospital St. Antonie. Heute ist die Antonius Mühle ein gemütliches Gasthaus. Der alte Mühlstein mit Mühleisen erinnert heute an die einstige Nutzung.
La structure, construite en 1323, a servi de moulin à moutarde et à grains pendant des siècles. C'est le dernier moulin situé sur la Breitsülze et il présentait une pente de plus de quatre mètres. Il présentait donc la pente la plus élevée de tous les moulins des centres-villes. L'ancien moulin de la ville, le Frauentor, a reçu son nom de l'hôpital voisin, St. Antonie. Aujourd'hui, le moulin Antonius est une auberge accueillante. La vieille meule avec le fer du moulin nous rappelle aujourd'hui son ancienne utilisation.
The structure, built in 1323, served as a mustard and grain mill for centuries. It is the last mill located on the Breitsülze and had a gradient of over four metres. Thus it had the highest gradient of all inner-city mills. The former mill in the city at the Frauentor received its name from the nearby hospital St. Antony's Hospital. Today the Antonius Mill is a cosy inn. The old millstone with mill iron reminds us today of its former use.
