Depuis décembre 2008, le Kreuzberg et son couvent franciscain se sont enrichis d'un lieu unique de rencontre, de recueillement et d'expérience : la maison Bruder-Franz. La maison historique de 1687, classée monument historique, fait partie des plus anciens bâtiments du monastère de Kreuzberg. Le point central de la maison est l'exposition "François d'Assise et la création de Dieu", conçue de manière impressionnante. En cinq chapitres, les visiteurs peuvent découvrir le monde des pensées de saint François et de la communauté franciscaine. L'exposition spirituelle invite au calme intérieur et à la réflexion. Un bureau d'information touristique se trouve à l'entrée. Le personnel y est à votre disposition pour répondre à vos questions sur le Kreuzberg et la Rhön. Des cartes de randonnée, des souvenirs et des objets de dévotion peuvent y être achetés. La particularité de l'office de tourisme de la Bruder-Franz-Haus est d'être le point d'information le plus élevé de Franconie, à 860 mètres d'altitude.

Mittelpunkt des Hauses bildet die eindrucksvoll gestaltete Ausstellung "Franz von Assisi und Gottes Schöpfung." In fünf Kapiteln können Besucher die Gedankenwelt des heiligen Franz und der franziskanischen Gemeinschaft entdecken. Die spirituelle Ausstellung lädt zur inneren Ruhe und Besinnung ein. Eine Touristinformation befindet sich im Eingangsbereich. Hier steht Ihnen das Personal bei Fragen rund um den Kreuzberg und die Rhön zur Verfügung. Wanderkarten, Souvenirs und Devotionalien sind hier käuflich erwerbbar. Das Besondere der Touristinformation im Bruder-Franz-Haus ist die höchstgelegene Infostelle Frankens auf 860 Meter (NN).
