About: Großeutersdorf

Großeutersdorf est une petite communauté située à environ 20 km au sud d'Iéna, sur la rive gauche de la Saale, dans un endroit pittoresque. Mentionné pour la première fois dans un document en 900 après J.-C., le peuplement de la région de Großeutersdorf est bien plus ancien. De riches découvertes de sols datant de l'âge de pierre, de l'âge de bronze et de l'époque de la colonisation germanique témoignent de la popularité et des avantages de la moyenne vallée de la Saale. En tant que région d'Allemagne particulièrement favorisée sur le plan climatique, elle attire par un printemps doux, un été chaud, un automne long et chaud et un hiver doux. La municipalité de Großeutersdorf compte quelques bâtiments et installations de grande valeur culturelle et historique, comme le pont suspendu piétonnier en acier au-dessus de la Saale, l' église Saint-Georges, mentionnée pour la première fois dans un document du XIIe siècle, un presbytère avec des écuries du début du XVIIIe siècle et un ancien moulin avec des dépendances. À Großeutersdorf, il existe aujourd'hui un centre de documentation sur le site d'armement de Walpersberg. Cette montagne de 311 m d'altitude a été creusée par l'industrie de la porcelaine de Kahla pour l'extraction de matières premières à partir de 1884 au plus tard. Vers la fin de la Seconde Guerre mondiale, ce système de grottes a été développé par l'industrie de l'armement national-socialiste, en faisant appel à des travailleurs étrangers et forcés, pour devenir l'usine souterraine d'avions Reichsmarschall Hermann Göring GmbH (REIMAHG). Les ruines de l'usine se trouvent encore aujourd'hui au-dessus du village et peuvent être visitées lors de visites guidées historiques. Une plaque commémorative sur les fondations du bâtiment de la cuisine de l'ancien camp 2 de l'usine d'avions rappelle que 27 travailleurs forcés polonais ont été enterrés dans le Großeutersdorfer Forst en direction de Dienstädt. Une pierre commémorative placée en 1974 dans la forêt en direction d'Orlamünde rend hommage aux travailleurs décédés du camp 3.

Großeutersdorf is a small community about 20 km south of Jena on the left bank of the Saale in a scenic location. First mentioned in a document in 900 AD, the settlement of the Großeutersdorf area is much older. Rich soil findings from the Stone Age, Bronze Age and the Germanic settlement epoch testify to the popularity and advantages of the middle Saale valley. As a climatically particularly favoured area of Germany it attracts with a mild spring, a hot summer, a long and warm autumn and a mild winter. In the municipality of Großeutersdorf there are some culturally and historically valuable buildings and facilities, e.g. the pedestrian steel cable suspension bridge over the Saale, the church of St. George, which was first mentioned in a document in the 12th century, a vicarage with stables from the beginning of the 18th century and a former mill with outbuildings. In Großeutersdorf today there is a documentation centre about the armament site at the Walpersberg. The 311 m above sea level mountain was hollowed out by the Kahla porcelain industry for the extraction of raw materials from 1884 at the latest. Towards the end of the Second World War, this cave system was developed by the National Socialist armaments industry, using foreign and forced labourers, into the underground aircraft factory Reichsmarschall Hermann Göring GmbH (REIMAHG). Ruins of the factory can still be found above the village today and can be visited on historical guided tours. A memorial plaque on the foundation of the kitchen building of the former camp 2 of the aircraft factory reminds of the 27 forced labourers from Poland who were buried in the Großeutersdorfer Forst in the direction of Dienstädt. A memorial stone placed in 1974 in the forest in the direction of Orlamünde commemorates the perished workers of camp 3.

Großeutersdorf ist eine kleine Gemeinde ca. 20 km südlich von Jena am linken Ufer der Saale in landschaftlich reizvoller Lage. Erstmals 900 n. Chr. urkundlich erwähnt, ist die Besiedlung der Großeutersdorfer Flur wesentlich älter. Reiche Bodenfunde aus der Steinzeit, Bronzezeit und der germanischen Siedlungsepoche zeugen von der Beliebtheit und den Vorzügen des mittleren Saaletals. Als klimatisch besonders begünstigtes Gebiet Deutschlands lockt es mit einem milden Frühling, einem heißen Sommer, einem langen und warmen Herbst und einem milden Winter. In der Gemeinde Großeutersdorf gibt es einige kulturhistorisch wertvolle Gebäude und Anlagen, z. B. die Fußgänger- Stahlseilhängebrücke über die Saale, die Kirche St. Georg, welche im 12. Jahrhundert erstmal urkundlich erwähnt wurde, ein Pfarrhaus mit Stallung aus dem Anfang des 18. Jahrhundert sowie eine ehemalige Mühle mit Nebengebäuden. In Großeutersdorf befindet sich heute ein Dokumentationszentrum zum Rüstungsstandort am Walpersberg. Der 311 m ü. NN hohe Berg wurde spätestens ab 1884 von der Kahlaer Porzellanindustrie zur Gewinnung von Rohstoffen ausgehöhlt. Dieses Höhlensystem wurde gegen Ende des Zweiten Weltkrieges von der nationalsozialistischen Rüstungsindustrie unter Einsatz von Fremd- und Zwangsarbeitern zur unterirdischen Flugzeugfabrik Reichsmarschall Hermann Göring GmbH (REIMAHG) ausgebaut. Ruinen des Werkes finden sich bis heute oberhalb des Ortes und können in Rahmen von historischen Führungen besichtigt werden. Eine Gedenktafel auf dem Fundament des Küchengebäudes des ehemaligen Lagers 2 der Flugzeugfabrik erinnert an die 27 Zwangsarbeiter aus Polen, welche im Großeutersdorfer Forst Richtung Dienstädt begraben wurden. Ein 1974 gesetzter Gedenkstein im Forst Richtung Orlamünde erinnert an die umgekommenen Arbeiter des Lagers 3.
