About: Palais des Princes, Prinzenpalais, Lindenau-Museum im Prinzenpalais

Die zweite Etage des Prinzenpalais wird bis Ende 2027 als Sonderausstellungsfläche des Lindenau-Museums Altenburg genutzt. Grund dafür sind umfangreiche Bau- und Sanierungsmaßnahmen am historischen Museumsgebäude in der Gabelentzstraße, das 2029 wiedereröffnet. Während dieser Zeit finden Sie weitere Angebote des Lindenau-Museums an einem Ausweichstandort: in der Kunst­gasse 1 im Altenburger City Center. Darin befinden sich die Kunstschule des Lindenau-Museums ( studio), eine kostenfreie Dauerausstellung mit Schaudepot und wechselnde Präsentationen an der KUNSTWAND. Der Ausstellungsbereich im Prinzenpalais wurde im Rahmen des Projektes Lindenau21PLUS großzügig durch den Beauftragten der Bundesregierung für Kultur und Medien gefördert.

Le deuxième étage du Prinzenpalais servira d'espace d'exposition temporaire pour le musée Lindenau d'Altenburg jusqu'à fin 2027. Cette mesure s'explique par d'importants travaux de construction et de rénovation du bâtiment historique du musée situé dans la Gabelentzstraße, qui rouvrira ses portes en 2029. Pendant cette période, vous trouverez d’autres offres du musée Lindenau dans un lieu de remplacement : au 1, Kunstgasse, dans le centre-ville d’Altenburg. Vous y trouverez l’école d’art du musée Lindenau ( studio), une exposition permanente gratuite avec un dépôt-exposition et des présentations temporaires sur le KUNSTWAND. L'espace d'exposition du Prinzenpalais a été généreusement soutenu par le délégué du gouvernement fédéral à la culture et aux médias dans le cadre du projet Lindenau21PLUS.

The second floor of the Prinzenpalais will serve as a special exhibition space for the Lindenau Museum in Altenburg until the end of 2027. This is due to extensive construction and renovation work on the historic museum building on Gabelentzstraße, which is scheduled to reopen in 2029. During this time, you can find other offerings from the Lindenau Museum at an alternate location: at Kunstgasse 1 in the Altenburg City Center. This location houses the Lindenau Museum’s art school ( studio), a free permanent exhibition with a display depot, and rotating presentations on the KUNSTWAND. The exhibition space in the Prinzenpalais was generously funded by the Federal Government Commissioner for Culture and the Media as part of the Lindenau21PLUS project.
