Learning in the national park? How boring. Think again! Here, on the northern edge of the Hainich National Park, there is a real research station for children. At the Environmental Education Station (UBiS), nature can be experienced with all the senses. School classes, kindergarten groups and youth research groups come and go here. The national park employees have lovingly and with a lot of commitment rebuilt and equipped the former military garage. Wooden beams, walls with animal tracks and real fossils, a wild wooden gallery and a dark wildcat labyrinth underneath - everything was built from natural raw materials and Hainich wood. And in a way that makes learning fun. A ranger is available every day from April to October to answer any questions you may have about the national park.
Étudier dans un parc national ? Quel ennui ! Pas du tout ! Ici, à la lisière nord du parc national de Hainich, il existe une véritable station de recherche pour les enfants. La station d'éducation à l'environnement (UBiS) permet de découvrir la nature avec tous ses sens. Les classes d'école, les groupes de jardin d'enfants et les groupes de jeunes chercheurs vont et viennent ici. Les collaborateurs du parc national ont transformé et aménagé l'ancien garage militaire avec beaucoup d'amour et d'engagement. Des poutres en bois, des murs antidérapants avec des traces d'animaux et de véritables fossiles, une galerie en bois sauvage et, en dessous, un labyrinthe sombre pour les chats sauvages - le tout construit à partir de matières premières naturelles et de bois de Hainich. Et ce, de manière à ce que l'apprentissage y soit amusant. Pour toutes les questions concernant le parc national, un ranger est à votre disposition tous les jours d'avril à octobre.
Im Nationalpark lernen? Wie langweilig. Denkste! Hier, am Nordrand des Nationalparks Hainich, gibt es eine richtige Forschungsstation für Kinder. An der Umweltbildungsstation (UBiS) wird die Natur mit allen Sinnen erlebbar. Schulklassen, Kindergartengruppen und Jugendforschergruppen gehen hier ein und aus. Liebevoll und mit viel Engagement haben die Nationalpark-Mitarbeiter die ehemalige Militärgarage umgebaut und ausgestaltet. Holzbalken, griffige Wände mit Tierfährten und echten Fossilien, eine wilde Holzempore und darunter ein dunkles Wildkatzenlabyrinth – alles aus Naturrohstoffen und Hainichholz selbst gebaut. Und zwar so, dass Lernen darin Spaß macht. Für alle Fragen rund um den Nationalpark steht von April bis Oktober täglich ein Ranger als Ansprechpartner zur Verfügung.
