Le frêne pleureur de Blankenburg est l'un des trois monuments arboricoles de notre communauté administrative à ce jour. L'Angerlinde de Sundhausen a malheureusement été gravement endommagée par un incendie la veille du Nouvel An 2020/2021. Le frêne pleureur de Blankenburg, planté au début du 20e siècle et déjà protégé en 1937, est lui aussi très endommagé. Il se trouve directement à côté de l'église, mesure environ 15 m de haut et a une circonférence de 2,25 m (en 2006). Le nom correct du frêne pleureur est en fait Hängeesche. Ce sont ses branches et brindilles bizarres, qui pendent en partie au sol, et sa couronne en forme de parapluie qui lui ont probablement donné son nom et c'est pourquoi ces arbres ont souvent été plantés dans les cimetières. L'arbre de la municipalité de Blankenburg a une influence décisive sur l'apparence du village et de l'ensemble autour de l'église, où se trouvait le cimetière du village jusqu'au XIXe siècle. Il a des branches noueuses, fortement tordues, qui s'étendent largement et dont les branches pendent jusqu'au sol. Ses racines sont partiellement exposées et l'arbre lui-même est déjà légèrement endommagé en raison de son âge. Dans le passé, y compris au printemps 2020, des mesures d'entretien et de maintenance ont dû être prises ici encore et encore afin de maintenir la stabilité et la sécurité en cas de rupture.
The weeping ash tree in Blankenburg is one of three tree monuments in our administrative community so far.The Angerlinde in Sundhausen was unfortunately severely damaged by fire on New Year's Eve 2020/2021. Its roots are partially exposed and the tree itself is already slightly damaged due to its age. In the past, including in the spring of 2020, care and maintenance measures had to be carried out here again and again in order to maintain the stability and breakage safety.
Die Traueresche in Blankenburg ist eines von bisher drei Baumdenkmalen in unserer Verwaltungsgemeinschaft. Die Angerlinde in Sundhausen ist leider in der Silvesternacht 2020/2021 durch einen Brand stark geschädigt worden. Die Traueresche in Blankenburg, Anfang des 20. Jahrhunderts gepflanzt und schon 1937 unter Schutz gestellt, ist nun ebenfalls sehr stark geschädigt. Sie steht direkt an der Kirche, ist ca. 15 m hoch und hat einen Umfang von 2,25 m (Stand 2006). Die korrekte Bezeichnung der Traueresche ist eigentlich Hängeesche. Die bizarr aussehenden Zweige und Äste, die teilweise bis auf den Boden hängen, und ihre schirmartige Krone gaben ihr wohl den Namen und deshalb wurden diese Bäume oft auf Friedhöfen gepflanzt. Der Baum in der Gemeinde Blankenburg prägt maßgeblich das Ortsbild und das Ensemble rund um die Kirche, wo sich bis in das 19. Jahrhundert der Friedhof des Ortes befand. Er hat knorrige, stark verdrehte Äste, die weit ausladend sind und deren Zweige bis zum Boden hängen. Seine Wurzeln liegen teilweise frei und der Baum selbst ist auf Grund seines Alters schon leicht geschädigt. In der Vergangenheit, so auch im Frühjahr 2020, mussten hier immer wieder Pflege- und Erhaltungsmaßnahmen durchgeführt werden, um die Stand- und Bruchsicherheit zu erhalten.
