Die Traueresche in Blankenburg ist eines von bisher drei Baumdenkmalen in unserer Verwaltungsgemeinschaft.Die Angerlinde in Sundhausen ist leider in der Silvesternacht 2020/2021 durch einen Brand stark geschädigt worden. Die Traueresche in Blankenburg, Anfang des 20. Jahrhunderts gepflanzt und schon 1937 unter Schutz gestellt, ist nun ebenfalls sehr stark geschädigt.
