L'église catholique Sainte-Marie, que l'on appelle aussi la vieille église, est située non loin de la route principale dans la partie sud de Heyerode, une municipalité du sud de l'Eichsfeld. L'église-halle plâtrée du XVIIIe siècle est couverte d'un toit à deux pans, d'où s'élève une tour qui porte une lanterne ouverte. Elle dispose d'un chœur fermé sur trois côtés. L'intérieur est meublé d'un autel baroque. Dans l'entrée, il y a des galeries à deux étages, l'orgue se trouve dans la partie supérieure.
The Catholic Church of St. Mary, which is also called the Old Church, is located not far from the main road in the southern part of Heyerode, a municipality in the southern Eichsfeld. The plastered hall church from the 18th century is covered with a gable roof, from which a roof tower rises, which carries an open lantern. It has a choir enclosed on three sides. The interior is furnished with a Baroque altar. In the entrance area there are two-storey galleries, on the upper one there is the organ.
Die katholische Kirche St. Marien, welche auch Alte Kirche genannt wird, liegt unweit der Hauptstraße im südlichen Teil von Heyerode, einer Gemeinde im Südeichsfeld. Die verputzte Saalkirche aus dem 18. Jahrhundert ist mit einem Satteldach bedeckt, aus dem sich ein Dachturm erhebt, der eine offene Laterne trägt. Sie hat einen dreiseitig abgeschlossenen Chor. Der Innenraum ist mit einem barocken Altar ausgestattet. Im Eingangsbereich befinden sich doppelstöckige Emporen, auf der oberen steht die Orgel.
